The following audio clip is the beginning of Dean Steacy’s testimony at the Commission. He admits to a number of interesting things…at least when he can recall them. Here is a section of my short-hand notes of this exchange between Barbara Kulaszka (B), Lemire’s lawyer and Steacy (S).

I don't know that my hearing is all that keen but according to what I could hear on that clip Steacy contradicted himself on the stand at least 3 times...he would reflexively answer he didn't recal then proceed to give a specific answer to the question.
Any fresh from lawschool barrister would have this testimony turfed as contradictory and hostile.
