"Back in 1215, if you read Magna Carta Libertatum (my italics; I don’t think they had ’em back then), human rights meant the King was restrained by his subjects. Eight hundred years later, “human rights” CHRC-style means that the subjects get restrained by the Crown, in the form of Queen Jennifer. I liked it better the old way." -Mark Steyn

HOLY ****!!!!!

Yeah, someone's either a total mental case, or has been ghostwriting for Steven King or some horror movie producer.

I couldn't get past the "Horrible accident" involving the slipping on the floor with the big pot of boiling oil. I was scarred for life! Barf

That was like, TOO MUCH. The people who made that up made sure it's NOT OK for kids to watch. Mkay? Mad

Was that more disturbing than the boiling oil/burned gal one? I'm not one with a weak stomach or anything, but even THAT made me go WTF.

No, that wasn't particularly gory- the "impaled forklift operator" was worse, in my opinion- and I speak as one who was blown up and nearly burned to death in a lab accident, many years ago.
( Yeah, I've been around the block a few times- death, been there, done that, didn't even get a crappy Tee-shirt to keep. But I still have the scars and ptyrigiums on my eyes... )

And email notification still doesn't work for me- if I seem to be ignoring you, I'm not- I "just can't hear you..."

Actually the theme is correct, THERE ARE NO ACCIDENTS. Stupidity in each case won the day for pain and/or death. Each instance demonstrated no forethought, inattentiveness, and I suspect preoccupation with personal matters, precluding focusing on what was at hand.

Yet these depictions are NOT as tragic as the mindset that allows convicted murderers, pedophiles, rapists etc early release so they can go about their usual business. Nor are they as vapid as the fools reponsible for allowing misceantic head cases refuge here as refugee cases or regular immigrants.

How about a system that allows persecution of innocent people practicing freedom of speech, or whacko unions like BCCT imposing their fascist politically correct idiocy on others.

What about political parties and individuals who support pedophilia aka lieberal style, ndp style, bloc style opposition to raising the age of sexual consent and a bunch of idiot scum on the not so supreme court legalizing swingers' clubs, which allows children 14 years of age to go to such hellholes and be victimized by LEGAL pedophiles, with the help of the afore-mentioned political parties?

How about the torture, murder of millions of unborn babies? What about the fluff/presecution of harmless people like Ernst Zundel but the toleration of NAMBLA, the Khadrs, etc.

As Waylon Jennings once sang, "The whole world's gone crazy Petelia..."

We're not talking about theme, we're talking about the sheer graphic depiction of injury that, in fact, would give horror movies and shows like CSI to shame. Exactly when were these ran on tv, if they were?

All of these in combination are not as horrific as the torture/murder of an innocent unborn baby by aborticide, if the sequence was filmed.
