That's a good question, even though it does pry into your personal affairs M&C. How is the legal defense fund? _________________ Politics is supposed to be the second oldest profession. I have come to realize that it bears a very close resemblance to the first. |

Sing it , Pearl, sing it!
I have that video: Festival Express, with Janis, the Band, Grateful Dead, Buddy Guy, and many other fine acts. Well worth watching! _________________ "There are some opinions so stupid, only liberals could hold them"

So far our legal bill is just over $800. That was for a consultation for the CHRC complaint, and legal fees for getting our .com in place in case we lost our .ca.
The additional defense fund money was put aside for server fees once the CHRC complaint was dropped.
We are likely looking at a fundraiser for general expenses in January, but we should be OK until then unless we start to accrue more legal fees in the meantime. |

I've been thinking of picking that up. I read that some Warman types in Montreal and Vancouver wouldn't allow them to perform there at the time.
At least freedom was permitted in Calgary, Winnipeg and Toronto and we have this slice of musical history.

I lived in Montreal at the time, and was quite pissed that they missed our city. What was the reasons they skipped Montreal? _________________ "There are some opinions so stupid, only liberals could hold them"

Wikipedia says the Montreal Mayor(Would that be Drapeau?) and Vancouver city council wouldn't allow it.
Funny. Of those 5 cities I would think Montreal and Vancouver would be most likely to allow a Rock and Roll show. _________________ * Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers. -Article19 United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights |

sorry just had to import this image from Kathy's site...it says so much more than words can express:
