GG, I appreciate the fact that you looked-- I really did not want to reproduce Crazy Deb's nasty, "run at the mouth" comments and snarkiness here.
She's all over the blog world, trying to drum up sympathy and support- by peddling her highly selective version of events. Not the full story. She's even invaded the comments at Angry in the Great White North ( Steve Janke's blog ), trying to spin and win over supporters.
Fortunately, many, many people did screen captures ( also in my links ) to debunk her spin.
And I say all this as no great fan of Protein Wisdom- he's a little raw for my liking of public discourse ( be warned, if you visit his site- lots of cussing and rude inside jokes-- I'm told that's his style )-- but the threats toward his child, and the DOS attacks are beyond the pale, and deserve investigation.

I just don't understand how someone who is a University Professor can find that what she has been doing and saying is acceptable behavior by anyone. This sounds like something a vindictive 14 yr old would try.

I kept my opinions to myself, as I live-covered it, aside from a quip or two, or selected quotes from people who were saying "close to what I was thinking."
At first, I suspected a malicious person was using her PC and personal info to make her look bad, but a study of her writings ( and history of stalking and blackmail- see links ) convinced me it was really her.
Then, I wondered how someone with so much hostility could even function in polite society.
But after her "apology, and back peddling, and trying to lie her way out of it?
I think she's a psychopath- a moral imbecile. No sense of right or wrong, just "me, me, me!"

Just Passing Through? I am toying with the notion of contacting her
former department head at the UofA and suggesting he use any contact information
he has to get someone with her best interests in mind proactively involved.Am I
effed up worrying about this?
Not in my opinion- and that’s extremely
decent of you.I’ve followed this train wreck ( and psuedoblogged it at my
baliwicks on Free Republic and Free Dominion ) and while I can’t be certain
whether this unfortunate woman is playing a role, doing drugs, or wacka-wacka
crazy, she does seem to be deteriorating. Fast.

Sorry, Den Mother-- in the annoyance of editing out all the javascript and getting it to format intelligably, I neglected to clean it up- done so, now.
It really is a gruesome spectacle...
