Shakedown: the video
This is the latest song and video about the censorship and attacks on our freedoms by the Canadian Human Rights Commission perfomed by Lindy.
It was recorded at the Liberty Summer Seminar in Orono, ON.
Don't miss this one!
Shakedown: the video
Performed by Lindy _________________ "If it takes force to impose your ideas on your fellow man, there is something wrong with your ideas. That was great! Very well done! _________________ I am a Canadian, free to speak without fear, free to worship in my own way, free to stand for what I think right, free to oppose what I believe wrong, or free to choose those who shall govern my country. Excellent except for the despicable comment someone left. When there is only one comment that's unfortunately what you're stuck reading. _________________ FREE DOMINION FORUM RULES

The comment was likely left by an employee of the CHRC. _________________ There is nothing worse than a wormy, half-decomposed cheesebread. |

Forgot to add this link: www.liberalstudies.ca.
They have some really good seminars. We went to a free speech on in the fall and we were at the Liberty Summer Seminar this past weekend, too. _________________ There is nothing worse than a wormy, half-decomposed cheesebread. |

I have nver heard of that organization. Last weekends event is nearby.
Was it good?
I shy away from things that have the word "liberal" attached to them as a general rule. _________________ Truth Is Treason In The Empire Of Lies |

Their events are about Classical Liberalism. Kind of a libertarian feel to them.
Some of their speakers were great. Scott Reid spoke, and he was good. Randy Hillier showed up for awhile, as did Gerry Nicholls, and, as you can see from the video, Jason Kenney was there after we left that night.
I did disagree with a couple of the speakers they brought in from the CATO Institute in the US. I felt like they were too willing to compromise with the left, and they seemed openly hostile to some conservative people that I respect (like Sarah Palin and Mark Steyn). But, it's still intellectually stimulating to listen to people you disagree with. _________________ There is nothing worse than a wormy, half-decomposed cheesebread. |

I had to laugh when I saw this comment FF. Me and a friend went to one of their seminars in Windsor a while ago. There was a guy sitting at the table with us who we couldn't help but notice had a very confused look on his face as he listened to the very small government, libertarian type chappy who was speaking. After the speaker was finished, my friend started a conversation with the confused looking guy and asked him where he was from and what had brought him to the seminar. The guy said "actually, I'm kind of confused because I saw the ad and thought it was a Liberal Party event. I think I'm wrong".
The Institute's logo has a red maple leaf on it so the logo, combined with the name, I guess I can see why the guy was confused. |
