Semi-related: but where is the legal funding issue? There had been talk of X number of people pitching in to carry a line of credit. Where and when to be so directed?

I'll be including you and Mark in my prayers tonight, Connie. May God grant you victory over the foes of democracy.

I will be with you in spirit all day, and until this is all resolved. What a process this has been for you.

I hope the motion succeeds, but at the same time I do not fear "exposure" and will let the Spirit guide me through each stage of this trial. In any event, this battle is not ideally suited for a courtroom, it is really more about politics and the judge should have seen through that already. Warman already has his version of Canada, now he seems to be looking for means to punish anyone who dissents from that. If the judicial system of Ontario wants to enable that kind of Soviet show trial, then it reflects very badly on where Ontario has gone as a so-called democratic society over the past decade.

Why are people so afraid of dissent or alternative opinions in Ontario? I suspect it is because of a deep-seated guilt about the long-standing condescension shown to the rest of the country from Toronto over many years. Somewhere deep down, these elitists realize that they are not entitled to push the rest of the country around, and that they are not the shining exemplars of virtue that they claim to be.

I've noticed that Richard Warman seems to specialize in finding most of his legal targets outside Ontario and in particular across western Canada. "Buzz off" would be my reply to that, we don't need some mini-Trudeau coming out here and kicking us in the shins to show his Toronto buddies what a progressive he is.
