I was just talking to an officer from the Kingston City Police. Apparently, Richard Warman has contacted them and asked them to investigate Mark and me because Edward Kennedy was not banned for comments he made about Warman.
The only way Edward Kennedy could be more open about his identity is if he had a google map to his house in his signature line.
He has been open about his involvement with the Landowner's Association, he writes letters to the editor to the local papers, and he is well-known in local political circles. I find it astounding that Richard Warman would try to pull Mark and me into his dispute with Edward Kennedy, when Edward Kennedy is such an accessible public person.
Maximum Disruption reaches a new level.
If you are angry when you read this, please don't post right away. He is going to try to say (as he has said before) that this thread is an attempt to encourage people to threaten him. Please don't give him ammunition.

Do I understand this correctly. Are we to assume from this that he is in effect asking the police to be a moderator for this web site.
Is that something that police departments have the time and the mandate to do?

....and tell the bus driver to make him sit in the front seat.

Edward will be so pleased that dick finally noticed him. I think Roy finally gave up.
I'd like to sue Connie and Mark because RW is a PITA.

Exactly my thoughts. So the police in every community in the country, according to this freeloader, should moderate every teenager's blog, every kid's Facebook page, every forum or chat site where kids might say "you're so gay" (a term I hear now 2 or 3 times a day from teens)?

I feel so much safer now that I know the police are taking care of us all like this. I mean, who knows what things someone might write about any of us, and it pass without us noticing it?
Note to Mr. Warman.
If you find anything I have posted on this site particularly offensive, then send me a PM giving me your phone number, and I'll call you with mine and we could talk directly and save the taxpayers a bundle. Deal? |

This is right out of Richard Warman's Maximum Disruption playbook, but I think it's a desperation move. He left the CHRC full of political timebombs (some of which they are still trying to diffuse) so those doors are likely closed to him now, and his SLAPP suits have just taken a major hit from the Ouwendyk decision, so he really has only one avenue of harrassment left. This too will go nowhere.
It is important to notice though the common thread with Richard Warman, he is trying very hard to have precedents set where one person is held responsible for the words of another. If he succeeds in this it will open terrible doors for censorship of Canadians on the internet.
Richard Warman wasn't doing bad when he was running his "I'm offended" operation out of the CHRC because real human rights offer no protection against that body. But he can not control what people say on the internet using the real courts because people have real human rights protections there.
In an attempt to violate the real human rights that protect us all, Richard Warman is trying to make it so that forum owners can be held responsible for what anyone on their site says. If he succeeds he wipes out Canadian ownership of public forums in one fell swoop. Not a bad days work for a censor.
But this new phase of harrassment will not work either. In a free society one cannot be held responsible for the words or actions of another. That is basic natural justice and it will ultimately thwart Richard Warman in this censorship strategy too.

I'm wondering if someone would be brainless enough to think that you read and approved each post made all day long?

There's obviously something else eating him the way he's after you and Mark and doesn't even bother to try to find Edward. Edward could be standing outside RW's office with a big sign on him saying "I'm Edward Kennedy" and RW would still want to sue you and Mark.

I agree with Texas Warman appears to be waging a vendetta against Connie and Mark. Alas they keep taking the highroad and he's relegated to posting on Neo Nazi websites. LOL can you image the conversations he had with the cops, but he's dangerous cause he thinks I'm stupid.
Connie perhaps you need to discuss your personal safty options with your lawyer, perhaps a restraining order or a cease and desist?
