I think the story would get the press that it deserves if it wasn't right before the debates. I also believe that if enough of us complain they'll have to pull it making the media more likely to at least give it a passing note.

I can't believe nobody is upset at the burning flaimes.

The flag isn't being "blurred", if you look flames flicker off the flag and you can tell all they did was digitally change the colour of the flames to make them look clear.

Interesting observation about the "burning" flag. When Bourque first reported the ad, he said it was burning. But when it showed on tv, it was "blurred". But the blurring was certainly done in a way to make it look like it was burning. I suspect that at the last moment someone realized that the Liberals would be slammed if they actually took a match to the Canadian flag. It sure would be interesting to get the raw flag footage to see if the Grits did torch the maple leaf, but either way they attempted to convey that impression. Herle leaves a trail of slime everywhere he goes.

This is weird. Previously I never saw the fire flash on tv ad. I did when I slowed it down as Gig suggested yesterday, now this morning both my wife and I saw the ad on tv and the flash was obvious. Have they tinkered with it or are we seeing it in the regular ad because we know its there?

I watched this ad here and on TV. I never saw the full ad on TV becasue I don't pay attention to Lieberal ads.

But I also heard this ad on the radio.....Q107 in fact!

It's the words that make me sick! What they are saying.....all the while stealing millions from the taxpayers in the Sponsorship scandal, gun register and anything else they could get their grimey hands on!

A very sexy, soft sounding voice of a woman is put on this ad........it's so evident their are not only being "subliminal".......but now they are being pornographic!.....LOL!

It's really hilarious. You can tell by this ad campaign and the tactics used they are REALLY scared.

I don't see the flag being burned........I see a flag disintegrating......

The CKNW news in Vancouver (CKNW is the #1 listened-to station on the coast and includes Bill Good's show) just covered it on their 6 AM news -- they got the name FreeDominion wrong -- they said FreeDOMAIN -- I've sent them an email.

Lowell read snips from the the papers and then said if 1 fram isn't subliminal... What is? He mentioned Jane Tapeworm's article too.
I think you would have been glad of the way he played it.
