Never expected that from you. A man of deep gentle spirit- who happens to be pretty good with a sword when need be. Cheers..................................Sunday is my favorite day of the week....No one bothers you- The Lords day puts even the irritating secularist out of commission for 24 hours.

I have a few people close to me who really know me and see I occupy two ends of the spectrum at the same time, intense hatred/anger against injustice and a softness towards victims of the damned system.

Both feel good carried within my spirit.

That's a bit depressing - after all the woman in my life...all of them were liberals...except for one...and yes - a conservative woman's beauty is beauty to be trusted.

A lieberal woman is like a car with bald tires, it starts, it drives, and is fine in good weather, but when the roads are wet or snow covered it just cannot hold them. :-k

I'll take your share of NYC - the world's capital city. Amsterdam and 103rd between Broadway and Central Park West; the old guys on park benches who actually met Mickey Mantle and Yogi Berra. You can sit all afternoon and talk baseball. More New York for me - and the food... oh my.

I would trade all of the city for a plane drop off in any inaccesible area of Nortern Ontario, at one of the many isolated lakes there that only pilots can reach. No herd, no lieberals, no bs. :D

It's not sunday but I'm afraid I'll lose track of this photo before it rolls around.

The pre-Interstate route I used to take to my Aunt & Uncle's place in Mom's hometown of Pomeroy, Ohio went through West Virginia, and what I mostly remember about the state was switchback roads and cars on blocks in front of shanty houses.... "Yep, that's the old '53 DeSoto pappy bought when he was workin' the mines and making some real money..."

That background forms a standing joke I have with Miss MaryAnn- when I first started going to see her she had appliances from various properties she manages sitting in her driveway. On a tony place like The Island this is considered very declasse, gauche', whatever you call it, "it just isn't done!"

So on a trip to the Vet's I happened across this:

...and I showed her the picture and told her "you need to buy that car and set it up on blocks in your front yard to complete the ambiance of the place..."
Just a Merry-Hearted Keyboard PirateBoy, Plunderin' his way across the Internet....

It's Sunday morning at Loch Raven Reservoir near Baltimore, Maryland. My tribute to Michael Phelps upon the conclusion of the finest Olympic career in history.
