Has Romney's war on Paul Supporters too far gone

Has the Romney battle against the Ron Paul people reached a point where there can be no reconciliation??

read this from Washington correspondent:

Mitt Romney may have clinched the Republican presidential nomination with his big win in Tuesday’s Texas primary, but he definitely has not yet captured the hearts of Ron Paul‘s die-hard supporters. (Or should we say “will-never-die supporters”?)

As the Washington state Republican convention opened today in Tacoma, Romney’s son Josh “was greeted with boos by Paul supporters when he spoke to the convention Friday morning,” the Seattle Times reported.

“Paul supporters also booed other speakers who suggested it was time for the party to unite behind Romney as the nominee to ensure Obama’s defeat,” the Times reported.

Forty delegates to the Republican National Convention in Tampa are up for grabs in Tacoma this weekend. As we’ve seen before in Nevada and Maine, Romney’s wins in earlier state showdowns don’t necessarily translate into national delegate victories.

According to the Times:

Matt Dubin, a Paul organizer, told the Tacoma crowd that despite media reports the GOP presidential race was not over until delegates officially picked the nominee at the national convention in Tampa.

Dubin urged the Republicans to “take a look around” at the Paul delegates in the crowd. “They are the future of our party and they are not going to go away.”

Dubin drew boisterous cheers from the Paul supporters when he indirectly questioned Romney’s conservative credentials on issues from abortion to health care and gun rights.

At the LA convention the Ron Paul Chairman got escorted out by the cops. How many of those Ron Paul supporters will vote Romney in November??

He is burning his bridges- not with Ron Paul BUT with his supporters.

Wow! Drudge Report had this video as the MAIN headline about 10 minutes ago and they also had the link to the Daily Pelican showing the picture of one side of the room (the Paul people) completely turned in the opposite direction in protest. They were on Drudge for about 5 minutes then taken COMPLETELY OFF. The stories are not there at all.
