The second mistruth is this country miust no be like USA in monetary policy. We are identical to them. THE CPC loves deficit government and has grown the deficit by billions since they been in office. Actually they have grown it faster than any government since the 60's.

Thirdly, this CPC has a leader that stifles debate, penalizes MP's for seeking to speak on behalf of the people they are elected to represent.

I understand you are a rah rah guy for the CPC but please read history and please read financial papers from around the world. Our financial condition is just another house of cards just like Europe and the USA. If you do not see this, then suffer. But remember Harper and the politicians will not suffer as they have ensured they are well taken care of.

OK, so who was the best government we had in the last hundred years? And why?

Harper's CPC are the best federal govt I have seen in my lifetime, and that goes back to Trudeau. That is not high praise.
It just means he's a 4 in a bunch of 2s.
