Contrary to what the law states, that you just quoted - the teacher did NOT call the parent. When she called Family + Children's service, she filed a false report.

.

Total BS! She did what she was supposed to do. I commend her or him for doing their job!

The teachers supervisor and Childrens Aid said it was all done according to procedure ... why do you keep skipping over that :?:

I hope the dad sues everyone he can possibly name in a lawsuit. His rights were grievously violated by stupid people and the police acted like Nazi storm troopers.

If there was any concern whatsoever they went about in a text book "Don't do this" manner.

He cant sue .. he is a convicted violent criminal.

He is always going to get special treatment by cops.

Should have thought of the consequences before he did the crime.

I wasn't aware that people who have been convicted of crimes in the past lost their legal rights. Would you provide the relevant laws that spell this out?

Yep, they do.

He could still be on parole or probation for all we know.

He could also have a court imposed ban on owning firearms because of his conviction.

Just last week many of you were arguing in favour of shooting violent burglars ... here is a guy who was convicted of assault during a burglary. Now you want to protect his rights

Are you anti-woman????? Are you suggesting women should not be allowed to follow this law because they are somehow deficient?

I dont get that statement.

The teachers are required to make this call... BY LAW.

It was the cops who messed it up. Put the blame were it belongs and enough of the woman and teacher bashing. :nono:

when it comes to guns, it is lieberal lying wenches who are intractable and bigotted. Take Wendy the kook Cukier, for one example. Take the ditzes from kweebec who after seeing their kind murdered by garbi, decided to solve things by demanding duck hunters be targetted for long gun registration instead of lobbying for concealed carry so they could protect themselves from murderers and rape.

Idiots...

Teachers of course are generally lieberal useful idiots so we know what kind of airheads they are. Clowns.

And you are a babyaphobe with your support of aborticide. Hypocrite.
Please let me know if I said something that offended you. I may want to offend you again sometime.

I think kevin thaler is a politically correct maggot looking to kiss the ass of his politically correct superiors. Bootlicker.

based on that the prudent course of action is to publicly arrest, cuff and strip search the father? This constitutes "some further conversation with the parents and child,” in Kanada these days?

Yes, let's give the police and government even MORE power of surveillance, search and seizure, they handle the power they wield now in such a responsible and professional manner!

For sure we know he is a liar, a cheapskate, selfish, babyaphobic, misogynistic, stupid, cowardly mouthpiece for morally bankrupt lieberalism.

Tar and feather the criminal.

SmallLLiberal has referred to Mr. Sansone as a "convicted violent criminal". That's a piece of context that might justify the otherwise seemingly extreme actions taken by the police. I haven't been able to verify that fact though after reading a number of stories written about this incident. Could smalllliberal perhaps post a link where Mr. Sansone's supposed criminal past is described. Thanks.

Meanwhile had the child and father been a Muslim the authorities would have looked the other way. Case in point the Shafia family when the girls repeatedly went to school officials, law enforcement & children aid for help. The "so called" professionals had the information but looked the other way as a woman and children were murdered. Political correctness was partially responsible for an honor killing and there wasn't even an apology.

While these incidents happened in two separate jurisdictions it demonstrates the extent of polcitcal correctness and the bias of professional idiots who can't distinguish and rationalize a child's drawing from a real threat to someone's life.

Being more cops are being encouraged to come out and strip searches are mandatory when taking a prisoner into custody, the police officers may have seized of the opportunity to look up the poor man's butt.

Of course they said that. That is the issue here, they think they can infringe on people's rights without due diligence and some basic questions. I disagree. This could happen to any gun owner and it isn't right.

Why do you quote the law and then ignore the part where it says that the first step was to call the parents - prior to notifying authorities? If that had been done here - then the police would never have gotten involved.

Like I said, you believe that teachers have an 'emergency button', that they can press whenever they want to bring the cops in. :barf:

Technically, this is defamation, smallliberal.

You'd better have a source to back your baseless accusation.
