Karla Gets A Pass; Linda [Gibbons] Still in Prison

It is sad that it has come to this, but we think it is time to have a forum for the discussion of cases where people are in prison for their political beliefs. Freedom-loving Canadians should be willing to stand up for political prisoners, even if they don't agree with them...even if we find their ideas abhorrent. We must fight for freedom of political thought and peaceful protest!

She is inspiring. Shame that she needs to go through the hell she is experiencing in order to get people to open their eyes - a "civilized" country should not need martyrs.

Once again, a story like this is only found off the grid. ... another travesty altogether.

...yet another example of the fascist system persecuting politically incorrect people as in the Bruce Montague case.

The people who already view the police as enemies are generally moreonic leftist trash, but the attacks on innocent people like Bruce Montague and Linda Gibbons are alienating good people and turning them against the police as well.

Note the fascist political scum behind both persecutions, these are the garbage that leftists moreons like teachers' unions and bureaucrtic unions support. Tell ya anything?

Powerful story. It makes me sad that Canadians, for the most part, are not willing to risk ANYTHING to fight for freedom of speech. The reason the censors have had as much success as they have is because their victims have usually had few financial resources to fight, or they have folded like wet cardboard at the prospect of losing some of their wealth or their reputations.

People like Linda Gibbons put the rest of us to shame. What right to we have to complain about the battles we have to fight when she so willingly and cheerfully submits to prison as part of her life's mission.

God bless you, Linda.

Gibbons, who has dedicated her life to challenging the injunction, called it a “political construct” that lacks “legal propriety” and “proper authority.” She noted that the injunction itself states the pro-life activity was threatening the financial interests of the abortionists. “[The government is] extorting money from Canadian citizens to pay hired killers to butcher babies,” she said. “The injunction [is] to protect that activity.”

“Since when does a government have an obligation to the commercialization of killing? The government’s duty is to protect life,” she added.

Conversely, the monster Karla fulfilled the terms ordered of her by the courts and the two cases have absolutely nothing in common.

I disagree with you RedDog because I think our society is so screwed up and often unjust. Connie is right to point out that a horrific serial killer and rapist is free to have children and live her life while someone who is trying to stand up for her convictions on the right for children to live is muzzled because her stance is not politically comfortable.
We have people walking our streets that commit rape, drug trafficking, theft and arson. Some sicko can hurt several children yet often they spend minimal time in jail before being released to abuse more innocent people. I see warnings all the time about high risk offenders hitting our communities.

Should Linda Gibbons be in a cell while so many serial criminals get a revolving door in and out of jail despite their real negative impact on people’s lives? If people are comfortable with their “Pro Choice” stance why muzzle debate or prevent others from raising their voices and concerns about a publically funded death cult?
We need an elected Senate! :hurray:

The system is morally corrupt...the police do not serve and protect in this case except to prevent freedom of expression...marion boyd can screech like a banshee and use the system to enforce baby murdering. That is not enough though, anyone who seeks to protest baby murdering is arrested and persecuted by other baby murdering system stooges.
