What about their contribution potential? Education? Qualifications? Professional skills? Are we talking more illiterate cab drivers? No thank you.

Knowing English would help as well. Jeez, I saw something on tv from Vancouver a month ago or so.....tv reporter was talking to Chinese immigrants, and some of them in their 30s-early 40s, and an interpeter was needed. No English skills at all.

It's come up here many times that all heck will break loose in South Africa when Mandela dies. We should be raiding their finest doctors, nurses, engineers, etc. There are many highly regarded SA physicians here now. These people over there likely have their bags packed anyway. THOSE are the immigrants we should be targeting. Pakistanis, Indians and Sri Lankans have nothing to offer this country, especially given the climate. Seriously, whose going to go to a Sri Lankan doctor? I'd want to see some education documentation except that it's likely bogus and I don't care and they probably can't speak English anyway.

That is a good plan and would be logical, any White person there or black professional will be a target and should be allowed here immediately as legitimate refugees.

Speaking of babies that is where I would like our refugees to come from. We have lots of people wanting children, why not make it easier for Canadians to adopt orphans from war torn countries? These children grow up in Canadian culture and I would believe have an easier time adapting.

I recall a writer in the National Post several years ago pointing out the huge disproportionate taxes imigrnts and refugees impose on cities and right away some airhead condemned the writer..for what....merely pointing out the truth. How about Mark Steyn who was attacked by the fascist hrc for an article on muslim demographics? Hmmm

Who are the aholes who appointed themselves the protectors of refugee criminals, beheaders, etc? Do they think that discussion is to always end with the person questioning the multicult madness with the libelling of the individual as a racist? Do these bigotted fools dare condemn affirmative action, or black slavery, or other realities that prove racism is not/has not been defined strictly to the White race?

Enoch Powell in the sixties took on the subject of immigration and warned of race wars. He was condemned, but did his warnings reflect accuracy?
Yup, they sure did, with notable race riots in the the eighties and nineties in places like Oldham, Bradford, SOuthall, Leeds, Oxford, etc.

so many Chinese in Vancouver actually got in by Quebec immigration programs. including very easy foreign student to permanent resident programs. so easy.

traitor Quebec needs to be stopped first.

in the so-called 'investor' immigration category, in the Federal program, one has to put in something like 400k, now maybe double that amount. but in Quebec, you can finance it, 120k fake investment is fine with Quebec, that is less than 30% of federal standard.

Quebec is indeed a loose back-door for 3rd world mainly Chinese to get access to other provinces of Canada or even USA. and foreign students are almost automatic permanent residents when they get to Quebec. and it is so so easy to get to Quebec as a foreign student.

the other provinces or USA need to stop Quebec from doing this low-standard immigration stuff.

many Quebec immigrants getting to Canada using Quebec's loose low standard programs, do indeed end up living in Vancouver or Toronto etc.

put Visa requirements on Quebecers when they visit other provinces? or build a Mexico-US border like wall around Quebec to shut it down?
