Okay, you want to deal with this publicly. Let's do it, then.
GET A GRIP!
I archived the thread in question as soon as you brought it to my attention. The only one talking about you and your "questionable motives" IS YOU! In addition, nobody has the foggiest clue who "RedDog" is. You are being utterly ridiculous in trying to make this into some kind of legal problem, and I am NOT amused.
If you want to take this outside the forum and start some sort of legal action, you are OUT OF HERE. Get it??? If you want to drag us into another legal mess because somebody's screen name insulted your screen name, you are NO FRIEND of this site.
Actually, I PM'd you more than 24 hours ago fully aware you would be out for a nice evening, which I hope you enjoyed. With respect, I have yet to receive a reply.
OK, I wrote it and sent it before I went out that night. I have no idea why you didn't get it.
I told you that I was archiving that thread (I'm sure you, at least, noticed that I did that). And, I told you that I found it a bit disconcerting that you would threaten to withhold donations in order to get us to moderate something in the way that you wanted us to.
I said that I was a bit insulted that you would think that we would even be swayed by such a thing because it would be an unprincipled way to moderate the forum, and that, it isn't like we get to KEEP any of the money, anyway (with a grinning icon).
Then I said that the donations keep the legal sharks off us, and, as long as they are sufficient that, when combined with what we can spare from our family income, the bills get paid, FD will continue. If and when that is no longer the case, we pack up and move on. Easy sneezie.
After the past few days, the above scenario isn't even all that unattractive, to be honest.
