...and idiots like you need a lesson in history...my Irish ancestors were more misued and abused than Chinese...do you hear us whining and crying the blues...and the Chinese I know have been happy to settle here and have done well for themselves, a bloody hell a lot better than those in commie china.
Please let me know if I said something that offended you. I may want to offend you again sometime.

Great. So you are for legalizing the drug trafficking business in US and Canada, right?

No, I'm saying that if no Americans or Canadians used drugs, there wouldn't be a drug trafficking business. Moreover, I'm saying that the fact that there is a drug trafficking business is the fault of the Canadians and Americans who use them.

It's like blaming Mexicans and Colombians for our drug problem. We're the ones snorting/smoking/injecting it.

Amazing that our family forced Chinese to use drugs. My father never saw an Asian until he was in his twenties. They just didn't hang around Pleasanton, Texas in the 30's and 40's. My mother didn't know any in Madison, Wisconsin either. I knew two through school years in New England and both were friends and neighbours from exceptional families who were outstanding credits to the community. I don't recall forcing them to use drugs. Where was this forced drug use taking place?

Comparatively?

Yes.

Without a doubt.

Those that aren't made with Chinese components that is.

You could start here

"Plunderers of the world, when nothing remains of the lands to which they have laid waste by indiscriminate thievery, they search out across the seas. The wealth of another excites their greed, and its poverty their lust of power. Nothing from the rising to the setting of the sun can satiate them. They alone are as compelled to attack the poor as they are the wealthy. Robbery, rape, and slaughter they falsely call empire; and where they create a desolate waste, they call it peace."

That doesn't represent anyone in my family and nobody I've ever known.

My question, based on the text you chose not to include in the quote of my text, was based on my family and our history on this continent.

Yoda is under the impression that I have no roots in what is now called Alberta. He must think I'm here by accident. Does he really think I just casually transferred up from Boston for the weather in January?

My roots here predate yours my friend. Tough pill to swallow, but get used to it. One of my American grandfathers has four combat medals from the Canadian military when he came up here to get to the fight in Europe, and you might investigate the names of mountains a couple hours west of here. LOL FN twit.

The west forced chinese people to take opium in the opium war and Chinese people haven't forgotten this.

Chinese tests sketchy: Health Canada

By SARAH SCHMIDT, Postmedia News October 4, 2010

Canadian importers and retailers shouldn't be relying on test reports from China showing their cheap metallic jewellery is lead-free because the tests are sometimes bogus, according to internal Health Canada correspondence.

Standard-issue Communist propaganda.

Chinese workers were treated fairly well by the standards of the day. No better or worse than anyone else. They have won for themselves and their descendants a deep and abiding respect as smart, hard-working and law-abiding people.

Opium was legal when the Opium Wars were fought, and IIRC the war was fought by private traders, not the British government. That said, it was a sad affair which brought about a most unfortunate chain of events -- the collapse of the Empire, civil war and subsequent Japanese invasion, another bloody civil war, and then to top it all off a few decades of Communism which continues to this day. It is idolatry, of course. Mao murdered millions of chinese people for a false idol called "The Chinese People". Communism isn't even chinese. It's imported from Germany.

If you want to know who is poisoning Chinese today you need look no further than the Communist Party of China. The environmental devastation and poisoning of the earth ahnd waters is worse even than in the Soviet Union. Most of the signs I see are pointing towards a collapse there just as they point to a collapse here, but with a difference: here the collapse is monetary. A result of central bank fraud promoted by our own Communists. There it is coupled with depleted and poisoned soils which may easily add famine to the disorder caused by the inevitable collapse of the paper currencies and the malinvestment of state-run banks and enterprises. Getting some dodgy drywall isn't half as bad for your health as making the stuff in the first place.

No, it was the British government. The one thing the British government did not do is kidnap millions of Chinese, hold them down and force them to ingest opium and become addicted. For that, the addicted Chinese have themselves to thank.
