Are you the same "sassy" person that posts over on the BigCityLib blog? Are you acting as his little assistant? Gathering information for him, perhaps? You sure seem to try to insert yourself into the middle of every altercation you can find.

I wouldn't trust you as far as I could throw you.

Well that's too bad because I'm quite well known for my honestly. I guess I'm too blunt at times. No, I am not the sassy person that posts on that blog, never been there. But I am quite flattered that you think I'm a spy, that is too damn funny. No I am self employed and am no ones assistant. Well I do have to answer to my hubby. I've been too busy to blog but took the opportunity to back DianaDS after seeing the shabby treatment she was getting. Us girls have to stick together. So just because she has a different opinion, she is wrong? No, she gets told to take her head out of her ass. Real nice. You people talk about ganging up on someone? That is all I've gotten since coming here. Yoda (and I thank you for all your previous help) knows I am only here to inform. I'm sorry if people don't like my bluntness. I saw JB's post and couldn't help myself, I'm only human. :)

JB Stone was arguing against what Yoda was saying. You totally misread his posts.

And, there is no point arguing with Yoda about this. We had a long argument another time over him calling children "bastards". I wouldn't want to have to stand before God and explain why I had such little compassion toward children. Particularly when His Word clearly states that if you cause one of His little ones to stumble, it would be better for you to have a millstone tied around your neck and be tossed into the depths of the sea.

But, that's just me.

The word "bastard" appears three times in the King James Version of the Bible. In Deuteronomy 23:2 and Zechariah 9:6 the Hebrew word is "mamzer." While that word in Yiddish does sometimes mean an "illegitimate child," the word itself means "mixed." The passages would make equal sense if it is taken to mean a child of a marriage between a Jew and one of the nations the Jews were forbidden to marry. In fact, in Deuteronomy that fits the context best. "A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD. An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the LORD for ever."

The other use of the word is in Hebrews 12:8. The whole context is as follows: "And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?" (Heb. 12:5-9) The clear meaning of the term here is one who is not the legitimate son of a father. This is what we generally think of when we use the term today.

Children are of four conditions. Some are natural and legitimate, for instance those who are born of a true and lawful marriage; some are natural and illegitimate, as those who are born of fornication; some are legitimate and not natural, as adopted children; some are neither legitimate nor natural; such are those born of adultery or incest, for these are born not only against the positive law, but against the express natural law. Hence we must grant that some children are illegitimate.
Although those who are born of an unlawful intercourse are born according to the nature common to man and all animals, they are born contrary to the law of nature which is proper to man: since fornication, adultery, and the like are contrary to the law of nature. Hence the like are not legitimate by any law.

It is because we are living in a truly degenerate culture, shame is now reserved for only those who live a chaste life and unnatural acts are legalized and indeed advocated by government.

Calling what some one is has nothing to do with compassion, but truth.
"Plunderers of the world, when nothing remains of the lands to which they have laid waste by indiscriminate thievery, they search out across the seas. The wealth of another excites their greed, and its poverty their lust of power. Nothing from the rising to the setting of the sun can satiate them. They alone are as compelled to attack the poor as they are the wealthy. Robbery, rape, and slaughter they falsely call empire; and where they create a desolate waste, they call it peace."

Fortunately, Christians are living under New Testament law now, not Old Testament law.

I certainly hope you don't indulge in shellfish or pork. There are a lot of laws in Leviticus...you'd best not be picking and choosing!

Octuplets’ mother wants Oprah to turn her into a $2m TV star

Postby Thistle » 02/ 01/ 09 10:31 am

It was only a matter of time.
Octuplets’ mother wants Oprah to turn her into a $2m TV star

THE single mother of octuplets born in California last week is seeking $2m (£1.37m) from media interviews and commercial sponsorship to help pay the cost of raising the children.

Nadya Suleman, 33, plans a career as a television childcare expert after it emerged last week that she already had six children before giving birth on Monday. She now has 14 below the age of eight.

Although still confined to an LA hospital bed, she intends to talk to two influential television hosts this week — media mogul Oprah Winfrey, and Diane Sawyer, who presents Good Morning America

I don't care what she does as long as she stays off of welfare. I don't want my money going to support her as she made the choice to have these children so she needs to figure it out on her own.

PS: I couldn't care LESS about your "bluntness".......it's the total LACK of substance in your posts that grinds on me. You MANUFACTURE "arguments" in order to attack me.

What shabby treatment? She was the one blasting JB and he was trying to let her know that she was mistaken.

Us girls have to stick together.
Even is they are wrong?

So just because she has a different opinion, she is wrong?
She was blasting JB for something that he didn't say, so yes, she was wrong.

I saw JB's post and couldn't help myself, I'm only human. :)
Next time you should try reading and comprehending the posts before jumping in to defend someone who is blasting another poster that you would like to also blast because Diana was totally mistaken.

Matthew 5:17-20

"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven."

Since neither heaven and earth have disappeared, Jesus said: " I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law"

Of course, that message is neither preached nor observed by those who claim to be Christian.
"Plunderers of the world, when nothing remains of the lands to which they have laid waste by indiscriminate thievery, they search out across the seas. The wealth of another excites their greed, and its poverty their lust of power. Nothing from the rising to the setting of the sun can satiate them. This refers to the Ten Commandments?

Some of the teachings of Jesus are directly at odds with some of the statements in the O.T.

For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven."

...and they were corrupt to the core at the time of Jesus, right? So being more righteous was not a monumental challenge.
