YouTube Blocks Videos Exposing Planned Parenthood's Support for Race-Selective Abortion

September 4, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com)- A YouTube video that revealed Planned Parenthood's support for race-selective abortion was first audio-censored and has just recently been removed completely from Youtube for a supposed 'terms of use violation.'
Lila Rose, president of Live Action, UCLA's campus pro-life group and editor of The Advocate, a pro-life student magazine, says that the recording is only one of many scenarios where different Planned Parenthood (PP) branch representatives blatantly supported race-selective abortion in phone calls with individuals posing as white racists.
Rose reported that Youtube also blocked four previous videos uploaded by members of Live Action and will not respond to any of their inquiries.
"It is discriminatory for YouTube to selectively censor material that clearly does not contain inappropriate content," stated Live Action President Lila Rose in a press release. "We will continue to apply pressure on YouTube until it restores the videos."
David Schmidt, Live Action's Media director, told WorldNetDaily that prior to their having been blocked by Youtube, the four videos generated considerable interest from national media outlets. "These four videos have received over 160,000 YouTube views in total with the oldest video having been public on YouTube for over seven months. Why are these videos being removed now?"
All of videos reportedly contained explicit evidence of Planned Parenthood's openness to the destruction of unborn babies based on race.
In the most recent video an actor posing as a potential donor asked to give a donation specifically earmarked to abort a black child. The actor explained that he wanted to do so in order to reduce the number of black children.
"You know we just think, the less black kids out there the better," says the actor to the Planned Parenthood Representative, who responded, "Understandable, understandable," and then continued, "All right. Excuse my hesitation, this is the first time I've had a donor call and make this kind of request, so I'm excited, and want to make sure I don't leave anything out."
The voice of the Planned Parenthood employee has been identified as Idaho's PP Director of Development, Autumn Kersey.
The pro-life organization notes that this new evidence of Planned Parenthood's eugenic ideology is consistent with the agenda of their founder, Margaret Sanger, who was a firm believer in 'race hygiene'. In 1921, Sanger stated that eugenics is "the most adequate and thorough avenue to the solution of racial, political and social problems, and the ever increasing, unceasingly spawning class of human beings who never should have been born at all." She also cautioned, "We do not want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population."
Live Action also highlights that there are 1,400 African-American babies lost to abortion every day, and that though African-American women account for only 12 percent of the female population, they account for 36 percent of abortions.
Rose was threatened earlier this year with a lawsuit from Planned Parenthood Los Angeles which, Rose asserts, affirms her convictions regarding Planned Parenthood's agenda.
"This lawsuit threat is an example of Planned Parenthood using intimidation against those willing to expose its crimes," Rose said. "Planned Parenthood is a $900 million operation. Instead of threatening me with a lawsuit, Planned Parenthood should call a press conference condemning its staffers and promising major reform to protect young girls. Instead, they are threatening a college student."
