>Katherine K. Young
Katherine K. Young is James McGill Professor McGill University. She has a B.A. (University of Vermont) in philosophy and religion, an M.A. (Divinity School, University of Chicago) in the History of Religions/Comparative Religion and a Ph.D. (McGill university) in the History of Religions. A specialist in Hinduism, she has written on numerous topics in that field.
She has pursued her interest in comparative studies with reference to gender, collaborating, for instance with Arvind Sharma on twelve books on women in world religions including Feminism and World Religions, which was selected by Choice in 1999 as an Academic Book of Excellence.
She has co-authored a trilogy with Dr. Paul Nathanson. The first volume has appeared under the title Spreading Misandry: The Teaching of Contempt for Men in Popular Culture (McGill Queen’s University Press, 2001); it has been the subject of many radio and television interviews and articles in print 2001-2002.
The second volume of the trilogy called Legalizing Misandry: A Quiet Revolution will go to press early 2003.
In addition, she has written on comparative ethics for the Encyclopedia of Bioethics (Macmillan); the forthcoming A History of Medical Ethics (Cambridge); and the forthcoming A Companion to Religious Ethics (Blackwells).
And she has edited or co-authored the following books: Hermeneutical Paths to the Sacred Worlds of India (1994); Hindu Ethics (1989); and Religion and Law in the Global Village (2000).
Fifteen books have been published in her series McGill Studies in the History of Religions with the State University of New York Press.
>Scott Douglas Lively
He is Director, the Pro-Family Law Center and State Director American Family Association of CA, based in Sacramento, California, is married and has two sons.
He is an Attorney and Professional Mediator Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, Trinity Law School Certificate of Human Rights, International Institute of Human Rights, Strassbourg, France.
Mr. Lively has written extensively on Human Rights and has made numerous appearances on radio and TV.
He is also well known as a conference speaker and consultant.

>Hermina Dykxhoorn
Hermina is the President of the Alberta Federation of Women United for Families (AFWUF). She has appeared on radio, television and in the print media, commenting on women’s and family issues such as parental right’s, family violence, the consequences of family breakdown, abortion, euthanasia, homosexuality, sex education, new reproductive technologies and bioethics.
She frequently speaks on the above subjects at Women’s Conferences, Schools, Church groups, retreats and seminars. She has written columns for the Calgary Herald, the Calgary Sun, Alberta Report and she writes a bi-weekly column called ‘Principalities and Powers’ for Christian Renewal, a newsmagazine of Christian comment.
Hermina has attended six United Nations global conferences from Rome to Beijing as well as numerous family conferences worldwide.
She is married to Jack and they have three grown children and two grandchildren.
