It's kind of like a "special sauce", isn't it?

The Dreaded Chick-fil-A actually has a Special Sauce- "Honey Roasted BBQ Sauce"- but you have to ask for it- it's not on the menu. It's honey & mustard & "something else"- whatever it is, is delicious on their sandwiches.

There is something much bigger going on here- if I-- who lived next door peaceably to a pair of Lesbians for 25 years-- can be bestirred enough to drive out of my way to patronize a place simply because their CEO said an innocuous thing and got called down on it by a tiny, obnoxious minority?

You have a movement. The paucity of supporters at Zer0 & Plugs rallies- and the overflow at R and R's-- is telling you things the Mother Rapin' Media will never report.

Stay tuned- things in 0-Merica are about to get...

NY Voters Poll: Let Chick-fil-A Do Business
By Audrey Barrick , Christian Post Reporter

Most New York City voters say Chick-fil-A should not be blocked from getting permits over its traditional stance on marriage, according to a new poll.
Amid debate over Chick-fil-A President Dan Cathy's statement last month against same-sex marriage, 82 percent said there should be no impact on the fast-food chain's ability to get permits, a Quinnipiac University poll revealed Wednesday.
Also, 83 percent said elected officials should not try to discourage people from eating at Chick-fil-A.
"New Yorkers may disagree with what you say, but they defend your right to sell chicken," said Maurice Carroll, director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute, in a statement.
The survey was conducted among 1,298 New York City voters. It follows comments by several mayors and other elected officials that they don't want Chick-fil-A in their cities.
Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino told the Boston Herald that "you can't have a business in the city of Boston that discriminates against the population." He also vowed to block the company from opening a restaurant in his city though he later acknowledged that he can't keep Chick-fil-A from opening a branch.
Similar comments were made by the Chicago and Washington, D.C., mayors.
They were speaking in protest of Cathy's statements last month that he believes in the biblical family unit and that same-sex marriage was bringing God's judgment on the nation.
Chick-fil-A released a statement later, saying its culture and tradition is to "treat every person with honor, dignity and respect – regardless of their belief, race, creed, sexual orientation or gender."
The company is now facing hurdles on college campuses as some consider banning the famous chicken sandwiches. Davidson College in North Carolina temporarily suspended Chick-fil-A from campus events.

They are off the beaten path for me, but $4.81 gets a spicy chicken sandwich & waffle fries- good for 2 meals-- and lends what little support I can give.

Chick-fil-A Bows to Pressure From Same-Sex Marriage Groups

Pressure from gay groups has forced conservative restaurant group Chick-fil-A to end financial support for organizations opposing same-sex marriage.

The fast food chain and its owners, the billionaire Cathy family, were at the center of a fierce battle this summer over their stated support for moves to keep marriage between a man and a woman.

But now, after weeks of talks with Chicago Alderman Joe Moreno, the company says it will change its policy about the groups that receive donations from the Cathy family’s WinShape Foundation.

“The WinShape Foundations is now taking a much closer look at the organizations it considers helping, and in that process will remain true to its stated philosophy of not supporting organizations with political agendas,” the company said in a letter to Moreno.

ABC News reports that from 2008-2010, the foundation gave $3.2 million to groups that advocate against same-sex marriage.

The spotlight was shined on the group after CEO Dan Cathy said in an interview that he supports “the biblical definition of the family unit.” Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and his counterparts in San Francisco and Boston all spoke out against the chain, hinting they would make it difficult for the company to expand in their cities.

In retaliation, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee declared Aug. 1 to be Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day and tens of thousands flocked to the chain’s outlets on that day. A kiss-in organized by pro-gay marriage advocates a few days later attracted far less support.

Moreno said Chick-fil-A has also decided to include sexual orientation in its anti-discrimination policy and said he will now support company plans for a new restaurant in the Windy City.
