Please post the snail mail address again. I had it once but I have misplaced it. I should be doing more housework and spending less time on the internet.

I never read fiction, the goings on in Canada have more twists than any spy novel.

I will be mailing a cheque on Monday for the defence fund.

Peter O'Donnell wrote:Yes, I loved that story, even if it was embellished (and I doubt that it was).

Warman has some nerve getting his sock-puppets to come on here and play the role of his defenders and admirers. Clearly there is a full-court press going on behind the scenes, to influence public opinion towards acceptance of our guilt before any trial even takes place.

The judge in the case has already been sucked into this vortex and so have the editorial writers of the Kingston and Ottawa (Liberal) newspapers.

But at this stage, the actual dynamics of this case are not confined to the strict wording of the law. We are dealing with a clear abuse of power in which the elite class of our country, and certainly of Ontario, are using that power to further their agenda and make full political discussion even more difficult to obtain than it was before the "maximum disruption" campaign began.

What we need is a campaign of "maximum derailment." If they want to change the game to social revolution then we have to adapt our game to counter-revolution. That can only work through the empowerment of a political party able to reverse the gains of the revolution, or, through civil disobedience. Trying to fight them using their controlled courts and media is proving to be an exercise in futility.

As I indicated a week ago, I had decided that it would make more sense to support the APC (Association of Principled Canadians) than to try to start up a parallel organization here. I hope they are up to the task of fighting for counter-revolution in Canada. The whole idea that this elite will just surrender power voluntarily needs to be abandoned in favour of much more aggressive action.

The PM is clearly not up to the task, and neither is the CPC under its present executive leadership.

The APC have a very appealing set of policies and principles, but you have to wonder if they have the sort of direction or leadership that can really take on an entrenched elite. They need to come out swinging and with a take-no-prisoners attitude, to show that they are serious about making substantial changes to the current Ottawa mentality of top-down government for the elites, by the elites.

Richard Warman is simply an opportunist who sees clearly the dynamics of the prevailing philosophy of government in Canada and wants to cash in early and often, while the constitution remains more or less suspended.

Here's some more useful quotes:

"No one understood better than Stalin that the true object of propaganda is neither to convince nor even to persuade, but to produce a uniform pattern of public utterance in which the first trace of unorthodox thought immediately reveals itself as a jarring dissonance." – Alan Bullock, in Hitler and Stalin: Parallel Lives

"IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW MANY LIES WE TELL, BECAUSE ONCE WE HAVE WON, NO ONE WILL BE ABLE TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT." MINUTED STATEMENT BY DR. GOEBBELS TO ADOLF HITLER, EARLY 1930s "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich", by William L Shirer.

“Cruelty impresses. Cruelty and raw force. The simple man in the street is impressed only by brutal force and ruthlessness. Terror is the most effective political means.” – Adolph Hitler – Hermann Raushning, “Gesprache mit Hitler” (Zurich, 1940)

“All propaganda has to be popular and has to adapt its spiritual level to the perception of the least intelligent of those towards whom it intends to direct itself” – Adoph Hitler, Mein Kampf

"The task of propaganda lies not in a scientific training of the individual, but rather in directing the masses toward certain facts, events, necessities, etc., the purpose being to move their importance into the masses' field of vision." – Adolph Hitler
– Adolph Hitler, Mein Kampf

“State authority must provide for peace and order, and peace in turn must conversely make possible the existence of state authority. Within these two poles all life must now revolve...Ideas of 'freedom,' mostly of a misunderstood nature, inject themselves into the state conceptions of these circles”. – Adolph Hitler, Mein Kampf

Couple to appeal order to identify blog posters

A Kingston-area couple who run a conservative online forum will appeal a court decision ordering them to hand over personal details about eight anonymous posters at the heart of a defamation lawsuit.

Connie and Mark Fournier, who run the online forum Freedominion.ca,said yesterday that they will be in Ottawa today to file the necessary papers to formally appeal a decision handed down exactly one week ago.

That decision ordered the Elginburg couple to hand over personal information about eight "John Does" whose postings are alleged to have defamed an Ottawa- based lawyer. The court ordered the couple to divulge the information before the actual defamation suit is heard.

The couple said in an interview yesterday that they have received messages from people interested in fighting the case, worried about the precedent it may set for future Internet use.

"We didn't think we'd be able to (appeal)," said Connie Four - nier. "There are a lot of good legal minds that have said this has to be fought."

Mark Fournier said the couple doesn't have enough money right now to finance the appeal. They are hoping members of their website, bloggers and forum owners will donate to their legal fund.

"We will fight as long as there are funds to fight," said Mark Fournier, who ran for a seat at Queen's Park in Kingston in 2007 under the Freedom Party banner.

The couple said they don't feel online forum users should be able to post potentially illegal material anonymously, but should be found guilty first before they are unmasked.

"This ruling allows anybody to sue any forum owner," Mark Fournier said. "Internet ano - nymity is gone."

The case stems from a posting made about a year ago on Free dominion.ca.One member had posted comments about human rights lawyer Richard Warman.

The couple removed the postings after Warman messaged them about the comments, Connie Fournier said. She said Warman messaged the couple again when the comments reappeared on the website.

Connie Fournier said the couple decided to leave the comments on the website because they believed there might have been some truth to the information posted.

Warman, a Queen's University graduate, sued the couple for libel.

In January, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice heard a motion in the case. Warman asked a judge to have the Fourniers give him personal details about the eight anonymous posters.

The motion also asked for the court to order the Fourniers to hand over financial information about the website.

Last week, Justice Stanley Kershman ruled that the case dealt with an "anti-hate speech advocate" and a website deemed "controversial."

Kershman ordered the Fourn - iers to disclose e-mail addresses and personal information about the posters, the IP addresses of each user's computer, and documents related to the website's operation, including hosting agreements and billing information.

"In my view, the defendants are under an obligation to disclose all documents in their power or control," Kershman wrote in his ruling.

The Fourniers were also ordered to pay about $5,000 in legal costs.

Mark Fournier said that in light of the lawsuit, freedominion.cano longer keep records of any members, save for the eight involved in the case. He said he doesn't feel safe keeping the information in light of the ruling.

"It's not that we're on a slippery slope -- we've slipped to the bottom," he said.

It's a bug. It should be fixed now. At least, temporarily.
