I'm sure there are a number of willing official intervenors who will be more than happy to represent freedom of speech and privacy in this appeal....possible elevate the public/media profile of a case and trial that some had hoped to keep to minimal public exposure. =D>

The higher public profile a privacy and free speech trial gets the better the potential for funding subsidy for the defendants. 8) [/u]
Of all tyrannies a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive; those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. - C.S. Lewis, In Freedom .

Connie and Mark thank you for taking on more litigation whilst your plate is full. I hope there are ethical and moral lawyers in Canada who'll help you pro-bono because that ruling is a grave injustice in a country where justice seems to be dying daily. Our freedoms are being eroded daily by radical leftwing activist and where are those organizations who stand for Liberty and fight against tyranny and oppression?

Our Chartered Rights are being butchered by radical leftwing activist as they enmasse power we've lost Freedom of Religion, Freedom of Expression and Freedom of Conscience. Thanks to the sniveling civil servants who work for us at the various HRCs we are being forced to confirm to their twisted "Anything goes if it feels good" ideology. We are effectively paying to be oppressed, Canada has more in common with China, Cuba and Saudi Arabia than she does with Western Democracy.

These radicals are screaming about Free Speech regarding Galloway, who is being banned for his actions, materially supporting Hamas, not his words. Tthe left are screaming for their chartered right for Free Speech whilst they deny us any rights. Those truely stuck on stupid people believe a foreigner should be granted a freedom that we are denied. How utterly typical of them, they destroyed Freedom of Expression when the Liberals and NDP constructed Section 13 but the MSM hails them as Free Speech heros.

Thank you both, I'll do my bit and donate regularly.
Section 13 reminds me of this poem: I am judge I am jury says cunning fury. Ill try the whole case and condemn you to death

Mark and Connie:

You might want to refer to the commentary in support of your position by Internet law expert Professor Michael Geist.

Mission accomplished!

What a stressful day of running against the clock but we did it. The papers have been printed, served and submitted to the court. Right now we're in the James St. Pub having supper and unwinding.

The fight continues.

Remember to keep a record and proof of every cost inured defending your and by extension our rights. Warman should be made to pay for it.
Freedom is worth defending whatever the cost!!

We've been talking to him. 8)

Thanks for all the support, everyone! It was a very stressful day trying to meet all of our deadlines, so the prayers were appreciated.

Let me guess. Your paperwork will be declared invalid because of some improper filing rule, or the intentional negligence of some activist clerk.

Anyway, that's the suspicious pessimist in me.

I can tell you that it was comforting to read the analysis of lawyers like:

Michael Geist, www.freedominion.com.pa/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=115148

Robert Trift, www.freedominion.com.pa/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=115209

and Gary Wise, www.freedominion.com.pa/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=115231

on this case.

My conclusion after reading these criticisms is that lawyers are beginning to be frightened by a trend toward illiberal legal precedents by the activist cultural organization we call "Ontario Justice".

I will say that Robert Trift is 'da bomb'. That guy has his procedural understanding to a very very high level of expertise.

What level of the court system will hear the appeal?

Also, can further documents be filed in the coming days to support the appeal?

What is the expected time line for a decision?

The most effective way to stifle democracy is to transfer decision-making from the public arena to unaccountable institutions: activist judges, human rights tribunals, parliamentary committees, civil service bureaucrats and political party hacks.
