The latest government crackdown on liberty involves a pastor in Phoenix, Arizona who was sentenced to 60 days in jail for having a bible study group at in his own home.

Michael Salman has been sentenced to a serve 60 days in jail and ordered to pay a fine of $12,180 for having a home bible study group that included close friends and family members. City official’s claim that he’s violated 67 zoning codes by having his home bible study group meet on his private property.

I think you pretty well nailed it, Alec. Why in blazes would we go to war in countries that bring in radical Muslims to power that then move to exterminate the Christians in their midst? It could only be as you said.

There is only the one way I know to deal with such situations.
The misery would be ten fold and precise.
You're going to jail either way at this point.
Make it pay.
So many people these days believe they are allowed to take such liberties as if they have some right or authority to use the law as a weapon against others with complete impunity.
I don't think so.
Allowing these kinds of weapon of law attacks on the otherwise innocent victims only encourages the instigators and the law.
Common law needs to be reinstated and property rights respected.

One Christian God hater complaining neighbor with power and political muscle makes noise to the corrupted and weak politicians. Result strict bylaw enforcement as long as it is within the boundaries of secular political correctness.
Many examples of selective by law enforcement exist where corrupt,weak politicians allow someone to flagrantly break municipal zoning bylaws and do nothing about it while someone else with no political influence gets stomped on.
