Three Jihadis

It is almost every day now. Jihadi attacks in America. This past week there were three attempted jihad attacks. And what does the media consider the problem? Racistislamophobicantimuslimbigots, of course.

On Saturday, a Muslim named Sami Osmakac was arrested in Florida on charges of plotting to go jihad on nightclubs and the Tampa, Florida, sheriff's headquarters. "We all have to die," Osmakac said, "so why not die the Islamic way?"

Osmakac is from Kosovo, making his jihad another thank-you for U.S. involvement in Bosnia. And the U.S. still supports an independent Kosovo state, a militant Islamic state, in the heart of Europe. That is our policy. America refuses to own up to the terrible mistake we made in Europe -- worse still, we continue to prosecute the Christian Serbs.

Media reports said that Osmakac, a devout Muslim, was "self-radicalized." You have to wonder if Western dhimmis stay up nights thinking up new terms for jihad. Pathetic. Soon after his arrest, video emerged that showed how pious and violent Sami Osmakac really was, as he attacked and bloodied Christian street preachers. The pious Osmakac, who was completely the aggressor, then cried victim to the police, saying that he had been "insulted," the same fictitious narrative that we are bombarded with daily by Islamic groups and Muslim Brotherhood organizations like the Hamas-tied Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

The police, in what has become standard practice in dealing with Islamic supremacists, treated the perpetrator and the victim with equal contempt, actually charging the bloodied Christian with battery. This was in the same town, Tampa, that classified what was obviously an honor killing of a Muslim woman, Fatima Abdallah, as a "suicide."

Even worse, after the terrorism arrest, Hassan Shibly, director of the Florida chapter of CAIR, cried "entrapment." This is, of course, typical of jihadis, but what is really outrageous is that the FBI briefed Shibly prior to Osmakac's arrest. Hamas-CAIR was briefed? Was Qaradawi briefed, too?

"The weapons and explosives were provided by the government. Was he just a troubled individual, or did he pose a real threat?" Shibly asked. Hey, Shibly, he was a devout Muslim. Watch the videos: he is preaching the word of Allah in one and head-butting Christians in another.

Also on Sunday, a Muslim in Alabama named Luis Ibarra-Hernandez (the media did not release his Muslim name) shot out store windows and tried to get into a shootout with police officers. Gadsden, Alabama Police spokesperson Capt. Regina May said: "After the man was taken into custody, he reported that he knew he must do something extreme to draw attention to Islam and himself, so he planned to shoot police officers."

I think it is poetic that this Alabama Muslim wanted to call attention to Islam by shooting at police. He is right, of course. Such actions best illustrate the violent and true nature of jihad. He would have been richly rewarded in paradise, perhaps 73 virgins instead of 72. But as Islamic scholar Robert Spencer points out, "he did not, however, succeed in gaining the space that is guaranteed in Paradise for those who 'kill and are killed' for Allah (Qur'an 9:111)."

Meanwhile, the military jihad continues. Last Friday, a former U.S. Army soldier named Craig Baxam was arrested and charged with trying to join al-Shabaab, a jihad terror group in Somalia. Baxam converted to Islam while in the U.S. Military. He said he wanted to die defending Islam, and was "looking for dying with a gun in my hand."

So three jihads in one week, and an ongoing sharp increase in jihad activity in Obama's America. Yet this is never remarked upon. It is deliberately ignored. And it's astonishing. Is this what we can expect from our politicians and the media? We're under siege by the enemedia, and by craven politicians, and by the enforcers: CAIR, ISNA, ICNA, etc., that have these government agencies in their back pocket.

What's it's going to take? America, where are you on this?

Tolerance isn't a virtue that islam honours though islam does demand tolerance (acquiescence) from other cultures and religions

British Engineer faces jail in Abu Dhabi for 'insulting Islam' with innocuous comment made in meeting

The more sharia is "normed," the more abnormal things are going to get. A British engineer is facing jail after he told colleagues in a meeting, "When will we finish with the damn mosques?" These are the blasphemy laws under the sharia.

And all this asshattery about how modern and advanced Abu Dhabi is. If there is sharia, it is barbaric. But Hollywood is making "Sex and the City" sequels there (how's that clitcut working out for ya, Carrie?) and K-Dash is filming eipsodes over there (she of the Armenian descent -- how's that Armenian genocide working out for ya, Kim?)

Infidels do not belong in Muslim countries.

Daily Mail (hat tip Jack): A British engineer is facing a month in jail after he told colleagues in a meeting, 'When will we finish with the damn mosques?'

The worker, who has not been named, told an appeals court yesterday that he did not mean to insult the Islamic religion.

The British engineer works at the parks and recreation section of Abu Dhabi Municipality, and is appealing against a one-month prison sentence imposed by the Court of Misdemeanours.

CAIR praises Muslim community for turning in FL terrorist, then criticizes FBI for “entrapment”
Posted by Matt Lacy • January 11, 2012 • Printer-friendly

by Matt Lacy –

While praising local Muslims for their help in capturing a Florida Muslim who wanted to blow up area nightclubs, CAIR then criticized law enforcement authorities saying they may have used “entrapment” to catch the bomber.

Sami Osmakac, a naturalized American citizen from Kosovo, identified himself as a Muslim and said he wanted to bomb Tampa nightclubs and a sheriff’s office with bombs and guns. Osmakac also railed against Christians and Jews in videos he posted online.

Appearing on Fox 13 out of Tampa Bay, Hassan Shibly, executive director for the Council on American Islamic Relations mentioned that the local Muslim community was receiving a lot of praise from local law enforcement for their role in helping stop a radical Muslim from bombing area nightclubs.

“I met today with the U.S. attorney and the head of the local FBI and they expressed a lot of gratitude and thanks to the Muslim community for its vital role in bringing the suspect to the attention of law enforcement.”

Shortly before his arrest, Osmakac made a video saying “we all have to die, so why not die the Islamic way?” He was arrested after attempting to purchase explosives from an FBI agent.

While praising the Muslim community, Shibly then turned around and criticized the FBI expressing concern about a perception of entrapment with their arrest.

Shibly said, “The weapons and explosives were provided by the government. Was he just a troubled individual, or did he pose a real threat?"

Following the reporting of Shibly’s comments, he has said CAIR will not pursue the entrapment allegations.

Judge: Spending $153 million on Shariah just fine
Fight over bailout of insurance company that complies with Islamic law

The decision from a federal judge who suggested $153 million of U.S. taxpayer money spent supporting Islamic Shariah really isn’t anything really worth mentioning has been appealed to the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, and oral arguments have been scheduled April 20 in Cincinnati.

The case was filed against Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and others and is over the nation’s bailout with taxpayer money of AIG insurance, which operates multiple companies promoting Shariah-complaint insurance products, the same Shariah that serves as Islamic religious law and calls for cutting hands off thieves and execution for leaving Islam.

The specific lawsuit was filed on behalf of taxpayer Kevin J. Murray over the bailout, which has involved billions of taxpayer dollars. It’s being handled by Robert Muise and David Yerushalmi of the American Freedom Law Center.

At the district court level, the case was dismissed by U.S. District Judge Lawrence Zatkoff, who ruled that the case needed yet to prove that “the diverted funds were not de minimus in relation to the total amount…”

Read “The Stoning of Soraya M.” – the true story that inspired the movie

The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines de minimus as “so minor as to merit disregard,” but the plaintiffs attorneys noted in their appeal brief that “even the district court had to concede that after cash-strapped AIG received billions of dollars in taxpayer money … it provided two of its SCF [Shariah-compliant} subsidiaries with at least $153 million.”

The lawsuit alleges that the U.S. government’s takeover and financial bailout of AIG was in violation of the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment.

According to the legal team, “Specifically, at the time of the government bailout (beginning in September 2008 and continuing to the present), AIG was (and still is) the world leader in promoting Shariah-compliant insurance products. Shariah is Islamic law, and it is the identical legal doctrine that demands capital punishment for apostasy and blasphemy and provides the legal and political mandates for global jihad followed religiously by the world’s Muslim terrorists.”

The legal team is arguing that, “By propping up AIG with taxpayer funds, the U.S. government is directly and indirectly promoting Islam and, more troubling, Shariah.”

“What makes this case all the more egregious is that this doctrine – Shariah – also
happens to be the underlying legal and military doctrine animating jihad against the West by Muslims from the Middle East, Asia, Russia, Africa, and even right here at home, as evidenced by the tragic Fort Hood massacre,” the lawyers argue. “Each and every one of the domestic and foreign jihad terrorists has proclaimed allegiance to Shariah and its call for ‘jihad against apostates and infidels.’”

According to American Freedom Law Center’s investigation, AIG has five subsidiaries that promote and practice Shariah in Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Bahrain and the United States.

Those companies hire Muslims to tell them how to meet the demands of Shariah, and the U.S. government has placed no controls over the billions of dollars in taxpayer money delivered to AIG.

Further, the case reports that the U.S. Treasury Department has created and staffed a position called the Islamic Finance Scholar-in-Residence, published presentations by senior Treasury Department officials praising Shariah-compliant finance and stated explicitly that the U.S. government ‘places significant importance on promoting … Islamic finance’ and has ‘recently deepened our engagement in Islamic finance in a number of ways,’ including a ‘call for harmonization of Shariah standards at the national and international levels’”

It was after the AIG bailout when the Treasury Department held a half-day conference called “Islamic Finance 101″ for governmental policy makers
which was in effect a cheerleading program to promote Shariah and Shariah-compliant
finance.

“It is one thing that our government felt compelled to bail out AIG
after its fortunes were destroyed due to the company’s own recklessness and bad acts. It is quite another thing to use U.S. taxpayer dollars to promote and support AIG’s Shariah businesses – all of which don’t just sell Shariah products to the Muslim world, but actively promote Shariah as the best, most ethical way of life. Indeed, the Shariah authorities relied upon by AIG’s Shariah Supervisory Committees actively promote violent jihad,” Yerushalmi said.

After discovery in the case, which revealed the details of AIG’s Islamic promotion, the government argued – and the judge eventually agreed – that the hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars used for the purpose simply didn’t matter.

In the lawsuit Murray, a veteran of the U.S. military, alleges he is being forced to contribute to the propagation of Islamic beliefs and practices predicated upon Islamic law, which he says is hostile to his Christian religion.

In the appeal brief, Muise and Yerushalmi argue that the government has claimed that Shariah-compliant financing “has absolutely nothing to do with religion, and on the other hand, they claim that it only involves the study about religion.”

“They continued, “The inescapable fact is that SCF is all about religious indoctrination .The record is clear and undisputed: SCF is an activity … that is strictly guided by Shariah, which AIG itself describes as ‘Islamic law based on Quran (sic) and the teachings of the Prophet (PBUH)’ (‘PBUH’ is an acronym for ‘Peace Be Upon Him’ – a religious expression used by some Muslims (notably, Shariah-adherent Muslims) to refer to Mohammed, their prophet.”

They said that defendants already had conceded that AIG is “fully engaged in religious indoctrination…”

“The federal government’s use of taxpayer funds to endorse and promote SCF and its entwinement, symbiotic relationship, and excessive entanglement with the very company (AIG) that is publicly known as the market leader in SCF constitute activity that is ‘sufficiently likely to be perceived’ by a reasonable taxpayer as a violation of the Establishment Clause.”

The law team continued, “This is particularly true, when, as here, the federal government owns and controls AIG and yet refuses to place any safeguards on the expenditure of federal tax funds to ensure compliances with the Constitution, knowing that AIG and its subsidiaries, which rely on funding from AIG, engage in this religious indoctrination.”

They pointed out that James Madison, the principal author of the First Amendment, once objected to “three pence” being used by the government to promote religion.”

I await the deluge of outraged postings by our resident atheists over this travesty.

They go batshit wild over a poem penned by a student that was placed on a high school wall and hung there for 60 years, that didn't cost anyone a dime.... this cost plenty.

So, have at it atheists, you don't want to add hypocrite to your credentials do you? (I suggest many pages and multiple postings so your bias isn't readily apparent)

Christian Soldiers Banned from The Quran in the U.S. Army in Afghanistan

The collapse of American will. More sharia provisions in the military. Non-Muslims are not allowed to handle the quran unless they are considering converting to Islam or are being targeted for conversion.

"Unless your military dog tags identify you as of the Muslim faith, you cannot obtain a copy of the Quran from the military chaplain." So American soldiers who wish to study the quran to understand the enemy threat doctrine are disarmed and subjected to enemy propaganda instead.

Abject surrender to a comprehensive legal system that mandates our subjugation and annihilation.

Christian Soldiers Banned from The Quran in the U.S. Army in Afghanistan Posted By Blackfive • [February 28, 2012] (hat tip Brandy)

Received more than a few emails regarding new guidance in light of the accidental Quran burnings in Afghanistan.

Now, unless your military dog tags identify you as of the Muslim faith, you cannot obtain a copy of the Quran from the military chaplain. The exception is if your commander stops fighting the war long enough to write up a memo requesting one for you including the reason why you want a Quran.

And, if you are a Muslim and obtain a Quran, it will be accounted for like any other sensitive item.

Image

Can you order one up from Barnes & Noble? Sure. You just can't get one from the chaplain.

Wow.

Does the chaplain refuse to give the bible to soldiers with Muslim on their dog tags?

This is just sad...

No, it is not sad. It is surrender to Islam.

U.S. Ambassador Doesn't Rule Out 'Proceedings' Against U.S. Troops Who Burned Qurans

(CNSNews.com) - The U.S. ambassador to Afghanistan has not ruled out military proceedings against U.S. troops involved in the disposal of Qurans by burning them.

"If there are to be proceedings, they are going to be U.S. proceedings under the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice) -- and I don't think there is any question or doubt on the part of the Afghan government that that is exactly how it's going to go," Ryan Crocker told Fox News Wednesday night.

Fox anchor Bret Baier had asked Crocker if Afghan President Hamid Karzai's call for a public trial had raised some eyebrows at the U.S. Embassy.

As CNSNews.com reported, Karzai went on Afghan television and told his country he had discussed the Quran burning with "jihadi leaders," scholars and elected officials.

According to a BBC translation of his remarks, Karzai said: "Representing the Afghan nation and their pure sentiments, in fact the Islamic world, once again we call on the U.S. government to bring the perpetrators of the act to justice and put them on trial and punish them."

Karzai's statement came three days after President Obama apologized for the incident at Bargram Air Force Base that has resulted in days of murderous rioting.

On Wednesday, President Obama said his apology to Karzai had "calmed things down."

But on Thursday, gunmen -- including one believed to be an Afghan soldier -- killed two NATO troops in southern Afghanistan, the Associated Press reported.

At least six U.S. service members have now been killed in the violent backlash over the Quran burnings, including two U.S. military officers who were shot in the back of the head on Saturday in a secure area of the Afghan Interior Ministry.

The violence directed at Americans will not affect the timetable for withdrawing U.S. troops, Gen. John Allen, commander of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) – told Fox News.

Appearing with Crocker Wednesday night, Gen. Allen said the long-range plan has not changed -- the removal of 33,000 U.S. "surge" troops is about to begin, as ordered by President Obama.

"(Defense) Secretary Panetta was very clear that while in 2013, we anticipate that the Afghan National Security Forces will move into the lead for purposes of conducting this counterinsurgency campaign, ISAF forces will be in a support role. We fully anticipate that there will be combat operations continuing. The enemy gets a vote," he added.

Despite the rioting and continued fighting, "Morale is good," Gen. Allen said of the U.S. troops. "We remain dedicated to this mission and the campaign is on track -- the (Afghan National Security Forces) are on track. We are being successful in this campaign, and that success will buy the time for the maturation, the improvement, of the system of governance of this country, and it will create opportunities for economic development.

"And all Americans -- regardless of the political discussion back in the United States -- all Americans, they should be proud of the sacrifices and capabilities and war fighting skills of their sons and daughters who are serving so well out here in Afghanistan.

Ambassador Crocker said the ISAF has made "substantial progress," but the job isn't finished, he added: "And I just hope that the American people have the strategic patience to see this through..."

Textbook biases for Islam are answered

New report 'painless way to make sure that kids are getting the truth'

Textbooks published in the United States have come up with some famously biased stunners on occasion. For example, what’s being taught from some of those books now includes:

- The Jewish Temple in Jerusalem contained “symbolically, the throne of their invisible God.”

- Jesus was a “Palestinian Jew” who grew up in Galilee amidst “militant Zealots.”

- It was “a few followers” of Jesus who “spread the story” about his resurrection.

- While Islamic Arab warriors “rarely imposed their religion by force,” Christian monks “by contrast,” were busy converting “peoples of Central and Eastern Europe.”

- Israel is to blame for terrorist attacks by Palestinians because they were “angered over the loss of their territory.”

- When the Jewish state of Israel was born in 1948, the nation and its neighbors “went to war.”

- It was because of the “loss of their territory to Israel” that “militant Palestinians responded with a policy of terrorist attacks.”
- “The Quran permitted fair, defensive warfare as jihad, or ‘struggle in the way of God’” and this was how Muhammad and his successors expanded their territory.

- And while Jesus is “believed” by followers to be the messiah, it’s a fact that “Gabriel continued to send revelations to Muhammad over 22 years.”

Now there’s an easy way to alert students – and teachers – to those mistakes and make sure the truth is included in a discussion on the subject.

It’s a new “Teacher’s Guide to Correcting Islam Bias in K-12 Public-School Textbooks” published by Citizens for National Security.

“K-12 textbooks that enhance Islam while demeaning Christianity, Judaism and the West in general are unacceptable,” said William Saxton, chairman of the CFNS and co-author of the guide.

“We believe that elementary and high-school students deserve truth and accuracy from their learning materials. Through this new teacher-friendly resource, we aim to continue shedding light on Islam and its relationship to other cultures and ethnicities that is currently very murky in school textbooks due to inaccuracy, misinformation and/or omission.”

The textbooks being targeted include the biggest names by the largest publishers, such as McDougal Littell, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, McGraw-Hill/Glencoe and others.

Titles in which corrections are needed are “People, Places, and Change,” “Communities, Long Ago and Today,” “The American Vision,” “The American Vision: Modern Times,” “Reconstruction to the Twenty-first Century,” “The Earth and Its People: A Global History” and many others.

“By combining in-depth commentary on textbook inaccuracies with easy-to-follow bullet-point summaries spotlighting not only Islam-tainted content but also omissions of fact, our handy supplemental guide gives teachers a hands-on solution that enables them to make real-time corrections right in the classroom,” said Saxton. “It’s a painless way to make sure that kids are getting the truth about Islam when they read these textbooks.”

The Teacher’s Guide, downloadable from the organization’s website, follows the group’s groundbreaking 2009 report by a volunteer task force that identified flawed language in 25 textbooks commonly used in Florida’s K-12 history and geography classes.

Since virtually the same texts are used across the nation, the report and the new guide offer national solutions.

Among the most common mistakes are incorrect portrayals of the biblical and 20th century origins of the state of Israel, and virtually total confusion over the use of the name “Palestine,” the organization reported.

In addition to correcting factual errors, said Saxton, the guide also points out “significant omissions of textbook content, which may be just as egregious as what gets into print. Avoiding any discussion of ‘jihad’ and ‘Shariah’ are examples.”

For instance, in the McDougal Littell “Modern World History: Patterns of Interaction” text, according to Saxton, “Houghton Mifflin removed the word ‘jihad’ as early as 2002.”

The report states, “‘Glencoe World History’ repeatedly and incorrectly uses the name Palestine for the kingdom of Israel. The term ‘Palestine’ was not actually used to describe the ancient land of Israel until over 1100 years after the events described in these passages. The use of the term ‘Palestine’ delegitimizes the modern state of Israel by denying the historical and legal claim of Israel to the land. Israel is the ancient Hebrew name for the land of Israel first mentioned in the Bible in the Book of Genesis 23 as the name of Jacob, translated as ‘God contended.’ ‘The Promised Land,’ as referenced on page 56, was certainly not referred to as Palestine. The Promised Land mentioned in the biblical books of Genesis and Exodus as promised by God, refers to Israel and only Israel. The earliest known reference to the name Israel in archaeological records is in the Merneptah stele, an Egyptian record of c. 1209 BC.”

There’s also the issue of Islamic history, with one book claiming, “Islamic society produced some women of great knowledge & power. … Reciting and memorizing the Quran was an important requirement in education.”

Actually, according to the report, “Women who succeeded in Islamic society did so in spite of repression, not because they were encouraged. These remarks imply that women have a reasonably good life and equal rights in Muslim countries, but facts about the status of women in the 21st century indicate that Muslim women are in virtual bondage.”

In McDougal Littell’s “Modern World History: Patterns of Interaction,” there is this: “Muhammad’s teachings, which are the revealed word of God…, are found in the holy book called the Quran. … According to the New Testament, Jesus of Nazareth was born around 6 to 4 B.C. According to Jesus’ followers, he rose from the dead.”

Said the report, “The declarative phrasing of the first quote creates the impression that Muhammad’s teaching from the Quran is factual. ‘Teachings which are the revealed word of God’ leaves no doubt that the writer wishes to create the impression that Muhammad’s teaching from the Quran is the absolute truth. The phrasing of the second quote qualifies the veracity of the Bible because the adverb ‘according’ appears to dismiss the authority of the Bible. In fact the Bible is at least 2000 years older than the Quran and prophecies regarding the coming of Christ were written at least 700 years before the birth of Christ. The reference to Muhammad’s teaching should properly say ‘According to Muhammad, author of the Quran, that book is the revealed word of God.’”

WND reported when the organization’s earlier report came out.

Then, Martin Mawyer, president of Christian Action Network, whose group worked with Citizens for National Security on the study and its distribution, said, “We found some very skeptical phrasing meant to cast doubt on the historical accuracy of the Bible.”

Mawyer said the finding was that students “aren’t being taught about the theological motivations behind radical Islam.”

“The impression students are given is that terrorists are misguided fighters against Western imperialism and aggression, who are only wrong in their approach,” he said. “It was amazing how many times the word ‘Palestine’ was used, making it sound like Israel was built on top of a conquered country.”

A text said, “Many important ideas taught in Europe in the Middle Ages came from scholars who followed a religion called Islam. Islam started in the Middle East and spread to parts of Europe, including Spain. People in the Islamic world had been exploring scientific ideas. Students in European universities began to study those ideas, too. They learned new things about medicine and the stars.”

Ryan Mauro, founder of WorldThreats.com and the national security adviser for CAN, told WND that he’s convinced 99 percent of students today are not taught that America’s first encounter with the violence of Islam was when the Barbary pirates attacked U.S. shipping efforts in the early 1800s.

WND previously reported when the issue was raised by members of the public in the state’s Sarasota County School District.

There, the complaints referenced “World History: Patterns of Interaction,” published by Holt McDougal.

The book was approved by the Florida Department of Education for use in public schools and adopted by the school board for use from 2006 through the 2011-2012 school year.

“It promotes Eastern and Middle Eastern cultures, promotes Islam as a religion, promotes socialism and fails to address world history in a historically accurate manner,” the members of the public explained.

Even earlier, WND reported experts said American students are not getting a realistic picture of radical Islam, and textbook publishers are promoting the religion in public schools.

Gilbert T. Sewall, director of the American Textbook Council, a group that reviews history books, told Fox News the texts are sugarcoating Islamic extremism.

“Key subjects like jihad, Islamic law, the status of women are whitewashed,” Sewall said.

In a two-year project concluding in a report authored by Sewall, the American Textbook Council reviewed five junior-high and five high-school world and American history texts, concluding:

Many political and religious groups try to use the textbook process to their advantage, but the deficiencies in Islam-related lessons are uniquely disturbing. History textbooks present an incomplete and conflicted view of Islam that misrepresents its foundations and challenges to international security.
