Oh, they won't have ALL the power. They'll have a minority. With Bob Rae and Elizabeth May making up the balance. So relax. Everything is going to be just fine. With the CPC pushing LPC legislation now anyways, you'll hardly notice any difference.

The CPC would probably be doing better if they'd stop wasting money and stop wasting time and political capital on SOPA clones and warrantless subscriber lookups and stop insulting / pissing off thier base and START DOING THE THINGS THEY WERE ELECTED TO DO.
I didn't vote this past election. Not after Mr. Harper effectively pushed every practicing Christian in Canada out of the party. My local CPC candidate is fond of killing babies and teaching nine-year-olds the joys of anal sex and various other lefty recreational activities, and his campaign web site was one long boast about all the money he's managed to suck out of the federal government and misspend in his riding. I didn't renew my membership. I didn't volunteer, and in the absence of a decent candidate, I didn't vote. I know I wasn't the only one.
If refusing to hold our noses for these clowns gets us the NDP, so be it. The only difference between them and the CPC is not whether they'll run the place into the ground, but how fast, and who will make money doing it.
