It's just as hard to find housing in Nova Scotia,and in most cases just as expensive.
It took us 3 months to find housing when we moved back home.As for $1500 per month rents,that's about average for the HRM.However to wages are on average 60% lower than they would be in a city like Edmonton.

I moved to Calgary in 1980 and had the time of my life until I fully retired in 1994. Then moved to the west coast. This is the best there is. It is great on the coast.
