Garbage? Why does the Bloc have the support of over 45% of Quebec voters....on our dime? What other province or ethnic group has their own political party virtually controlling parliament and vowing to separate?

No it is not and i did not make fun of his name. Actually i joined the thread late and assumed someone was referring to a "Jean" who was a thieving political whore. That was an error on my part, i backed up on the thread and did not make any personal reference, and in fact gave Jean his due in saying that i did not know him to be other than a "Canadian/ienne"........which should not be construed as an insult.

I am not debating your position on Quebec, in fact I may even agree with it.

Your laughing at Red Dog's post certainly appears to be an agreement with his jab at Jean's name reference and you go on to use the slang FrancoPHONY reference.

At any rate, you are just one of the three in this thread that seemed to have gotten under Jeans' skin enough to drive him away; I think that speaks volumes.

If it is true that Jean will no longer be a part of FD it is truely a shame and a great loss. I for one will miss his excellent posting.

There has been of late a number of posters that have taken it upon them selves to denagrate those that are not "their kind".

Well, the way I see it is Jean was pretty quick with the insults but pretty thin skinned when it came to return fire.

He may be a respected poster but these are not qualities of value when we are in the middle of a war against the liberal, PC, islamofacist hoards out there. These people take no prisoners in the culture wars and in my opinion Jean and others need to buck up or they will be rolled over very quickly in this war.

I am from Toronto and I have seen some very harsh criticism of Ontarians and Torontonians here and deservedly so. Sometimes I am inclined to lead the charge but I never take it personally.

Anyways, nothing in that thread struck me as out of line. Just my 2 cents as an occaisonal poster here.

There is nothing individual Quebec Conservatives like Jean and me can do about that. There is no provincial Conservative party in Quebec. No provincial party in Quebec is gonna reduce the size of the state and cut social programs. I would of course prefer we do not get that $6B, but socialists control us totally and there is nothing I can do about it.

Instead of blaming Quebec Conservatives like Jean for the successes of the Bloc, you should congratulate them for fighting it.
