Ezra's newest book Fight Kyoto

Postby David Moore » 10/ 17/ 02 11:25 am

For my friends at FD thought some of you might be interested, I may meet with Ezra today, so I will pass on the good will of the group.

I want you to be one of the first to know about my forthcoming book,
Fight Kyoto. For an advance preview, just click on to this link:
www.fightkyoto.com.

I'm actually writing the very last chapter this week because I want the
book to be as current as possible. So if you have any advice for me
about the content of Fight Kyoto, please send it in now. I'm in Calgary
today, and if you want to connect by e-mail, please just drop me a line
at ezra@fightkyoto.com.

One other thing. Our first print-run is only 3,000 copies -- and we've
already sold a thousand through word-of-mouth. At this rate, our entire
first edition could be sold out by mid-November.

To reserve your book, I encourage you to order an advance copy of Fight
Kyoto today. Just click on www.fightkyoto.com/orders. I'll even
autograph your copy as it comes off the presses -- or on-site at one of
our many venues when our speaking tour passes through town.

The print presses are on standby and we can ship copies of Fight Kyoto
to arrive well in time for Christmas and Hanukkah.

In advance, thanks very much for your support. Now let's go fight Kyoto
together!

Ezra

About Fight Kyoto

>>From the Alberta tar sands to Ontario's auto industry to Atlantic
Canada's gleaming new offshore oil rigs, Canadians are asking the same
question: Will the Kyoto Protocol destroy my job?

For 400,000 Canadians, the shocking answer is "yes".

Ezra Levant's riveting book, Fight Kyoto, describes how this dangerous
treaty was concocted by unaccountable foreign diplomats. A meticulous
researcher, Levant shows how implementing Kyoto will devastate Canada's
economy. And he makes a compelling case that, despite Kyoto's
nation-breaking costs, the treaty will actually make the world's
environment dirtier.

But Fight Kyoto is much more than just a fact-packed warning. In the
final, riveting chapter, Levant - a constitutional lawyer by training -
unveils what could be Canada's last, best hope to stop Kyoto's
devastation: a dramatic fight-back plan to stop Kyoto dead in its
tracks.

Fight Kyoto is a must-read for any Canadian who wants to know more about
the most dangerous foreign treaty ever signed by a Canadian government.
And his unique action plan should be mandatory reading for any
politician who knows that it's time to... FIGHT KYOTO.

About the author

Ezra Levant is a constitutional lawyer who lives and works amongst the
office towers of Calgary's oil patch - the centre of the Kyoto
bull's-eye. He is a nationally-published newspaper columnist and TV
commentator and served as a senior advisor to the Leader of the
Opposition during Parliament's Kyoto debates.

Praise for Ezra Levant's ground-breaking first book, Youthquake.

will Canadians listen?" -- Mike Duffy, CTV News

Good show, Ezra!!! This is one book that will be welcomed.

The only bone I have to pick with you Ezra, is that you are involved with the wrong political party. :D

"What do our opponents mean when they apply to us the label "Liberal?"

But if by a "Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people -their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties, if that is what they mean by a "Liberal," then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal."

I think Youth Quake is out of print. However, I will double check that for you. :)

If Fight Kyoto does well, a new edition of Youth Quake may be in order!

And to hell with all leftist, socialist, holier-than-thou tree-god worshipers who are trying desperately to micro-manage the life of every single person in the world.

There is no global warming.

Go Away, Suzuki, you egg-head academic prick.

Sierra is Bullshit.

Death to Coyote D'accord.

Canada, and it's lemmings will adapt the "Kyoto Accord", and kill their economy.

The United States Senate(which contains dozens of liberals) rejected this third-world nonsense 95-0.

There are already people bitching about the Hydro bill in Ontario, that has gone up significantly, since Harris deregulated the industry.

Kyoto will make these present increases seem piddling.

Yep we Canadians will just have to pay more to "Be the Best" in the world view. Why does not Canada use its own Cando (sp?) reactors, which are by all accounts virtually emmission free, the waste can go to Swann Hills to be cleaned, clean power???

I wonder how long Canadians will continue to put up with this give us mo money governance. It has got to stop! We must put an end to these Ottawa Jerks or go it on our own. Enough is enough, bring on the 10% G.S.T. so Canadians will finally get rid of you. If not Kyoto will do us in sufficiently enough. The Independant Republic of Alberta will be born!

Kyoto is the latest in a long list of faddish white collar makework projects that Canadian statists promote at great cost to real workers and we ordinary occupants of the private sector (non- government teat dependent branch). The comparisons to the NEP are accurate. Twenty years ago, Marc Lalonde and his boss, PET, poisoned the petro business in the west and smothered the Newfoundland offshore play that was bursting to run with private money. I stood on Newfoundland soil and cursed Trudeau and his paper-shuffling Nomenklatura for four long years, 1980-1984.

Do not think for a minute that the Kyoto advocacy is anything but the most recent variant on the bureaucratic scam of making profitable and perpetual careers out of inflicting slow death by strangulation on the resource sector.
