Will Ron Paul win more delegates this week than Gingrich, Santorum?
Ron Paul is likely to win more delegates to the 2012 GOP convention than either Newt Gingrich or Rick Santorum this week. Wait. What? That's why he campaigned in Maine this weekend.

This week, Ron Paul is likely to win more delegates to the 2012 GOP convention than either Newt Gingrich or Rick Santorum. In fact, he’s likely to win more delegates than Gingrich and Santorum combined.

“Hold it”, you’re saying, “How can that be? Rep. Paul’s polling in single digits in Florida. He’s going to finish behind Gingrich and Santorum, as well as Mitt Romney, in Tuesday’s Florida primary. How can that translate into beating any of his rivals at all?”

We’ll tell you how – because he’s not winning those delegates in Florida. He’s winning, or will probably win, at least a few delegates in Maine.

Classy speech. I appreciate how he called down booers of his congratulating call to Romney. Some people don't get that the party has to be a team united in the end. At some point they will all have to support who prevails. The enemy is Obama. They need to keep their eye on the ball.

How can anybody not support this guy? I know why the corrupt bastards in power in Washington don't but com'on people take back your government and Ron Paul is the only one in town wanting a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.

Gringrich, Romney, Santorum and Obama aren't even in the same league as Ron Paul, they only want power not liberty, small govt and sound fiscal policy. Geez it is like insanity when I hear supposed conservatives turn on Ron Paul and rah rah for one of the establishment boys running.

The enemy is Obama.

No - the enemy is publicly funded health care, whether it be Newtcare, Obamacare or Romneycare.
Your overall argument is:
"The US states do not fund abortions. Canada's provinces do fund abortions; therefore Canada is bad and, gosh, I can use the term "abortuaries" with a sneer."

Because people don't want the truth, people can't be trusted, they want what they want and reality doesn't matter. People are arseholes that is why they choose big government. The game is fixed, there is no choice, the choice is how much do you want state expansionism to occur, really fast or super fast?

America's Brian Mulroney; Romneycare - please, he is a dolt!

I think you are correct, nobody including those who call themselves conservatives want to give up their government goodies. Well except those who see we are all going to lose them anyways if we don't stop the borrowing/spending/repressive tax system.

So, if Ron Paul were elected, who would be in his cabinet, besides Dennis Kucinich?

It's only one sided, they give him single digits minutes to speak, even after he is second in New Hampshire, they ban him from CPAC, they have their spokesman and media distort his positions and record, and they say the want him to declare he won't go independent 24/7. If they don't want him to go independent they should stop all the &%$#*&& first and apologize. Then we will know they want to beat Obama really, as it seems they fear Paul more than Obama in all their actions.

Paul has less chance than a snowball in Hell of getting the nomination. I have never seen Republicans and Democrats so united with virtually all news media of any stature in blackballing and ignoring an individual.

Paul could not only beat obamed, I think he could win a landslide victory. But that will NEVER happen, it simply will not be allowed regardless of what "we the people" say or regardless of anything else whatsoever.

If you and your pals sell and selectively enforce and give jobs and power based on "dependency" then claim these ideas are what the people want, do you see any conflict of intellect there? Since you have sworn to keep silent, give jobs and positions based on the same idea, then how can you play at such ideas. Oh that's right we are the muddles or are the profane, and must admire your magic (attacking weaknesses in human nature) in convincing the sheeple to follow Seth through the underworld you have created. Bravo you fear those above you and your contempt for those below you Mr. 33rd, you have simply made yourself and others into animals. as animal fear those above and eat those below them too. The more war the more people retreat to being animals, this is not high thought no matter what your master 34th says.

I get very sick of people saying in the GOP "Our number one goal is beating Obama".

Really? That's the goal for your whole political party? When you're playing a sport, the only thing that matters is beating the other team. When the two worst teams meet in competition, someone still comes out a winner, even if by one point. So if the main goal of the GOP is to beat Obama, they have already lost and deserve to get tossed into the dustbin of history.

I could probably think of about 10 things they could make their most important goal. How about making ending the income tax the most importation thing for the GOP? How about balancing the budget and running surpluses to pay off the debt? How about lessening the burden on taxpayers and businesses so the economy can get back moving? If replacing Obama with a white, Mormon Obama is the main goal of the Republican Party, they should just turn out the lights and go home.

Ron Paul's presidency would be about ideas, not individuals. It wouldn't matter who was in the cabinet. The people are replaceable, the ideas are not.

Ron Paul not invited to CPAC this year even though he won the CPAC straw poll the last two years.

Ron run third party and destroy the Republican Party.

Yes I'm sick of the distorted debates rationalized by biased individuals who would scream if the situation were reversed. I'm sick of the distorted polls and "Warmongering Big daddy state trumps everything else" phoney conservatives. Let's see them win on warmongering verses Obama's warmongering and big sister state. We know the answer even before the vote. Yet like with the Reform Party they think we have no where else to go. Just watch. The neo-cons are now talking of a brokered convention with Jeb Bush coming to the rescue. No thanks!
