We also have an edit function now (available for 30 minutes after you post), and, within a day or so, our search function will be fully operational.

The new software doesn't allow html because it is a security risk. You can use the BB codes that are on the top of the reply box when you want to add links and images, though. In coming days, we will be adding BB code that allows cool things like embedding YouTube videos.
The URL seems fine as the BB code wraps a long URL rather than breaking the margins. The ability to center text and images is something we do need though.
The most effective way to stifle democracy is to transfer decision-making from the public arena to unaccountable institutions: activist judges, human rights tribunals, parliamentary committees, civil service bureaucrats and political party hacks.

Center tags will definitely be added!

The 'change password' feature is fully functional. I got an e-mail from the system asking me to click a link to log on with my new password - worked like greased lightning.

Thanks....and low and behold.....the original thread is actually WORKING now..... :smoke:

The rain has been brutal on everyone's nerves and this day of sunshine comes none too soon.

I'm having to resort to having a professional cut my lawn and trim the weeds because the weather has been anything but cooperative.... :-({|=

I planted over 70 new colors of Irises in the new bed and only some will bloom this year.......there's always NEXT year....

....sigh....

But, we're off to a pretty good start.

What is the link you usually use...the one that is broken?

Looks like the login has changed from the 'session cookies'. -

When I logged in before, I would automatically be logged out when I went offline (session cookie)

Now I remain logged on after I've been offline.

I deleted it from my bookmarks and redid it to one that works. Problem solved. Now if I can just figure out what the symbols mean and take note. I'll have to increase my magnifier until I relearn them. Prepare for styky mistakes for a bit.

The new symbols are reasonably intuitive and seem to work well. Moderators have a new set of tools that will take some getting used to.

This is the link which Styky was mentioning (same for me):

http:......www.freedominion.com.pa...phpBB2...portal.php

(edit, I have replaced / with ... so that it shows up, if I don't, only "portal.php" shows up in my post ... edit that works).

I get the error 404 message from that. Found my way in by typing freedominion.ca which then changed back to something almost the same as the broken link.

This is interesting. I have two windows open to Free Dominion right now. In one the colour scheme is different from the other. In the one I am using to compose this post in the colours are similar to the old colours although brighter. In the other different shades of gray are used.
