Hello all,

As usual, the work being done on FD is taking more time than predicted so we're setting up this thread so hardcore FDers will have a place to talk.

The problem we have is anything posted on FD during this down time will not be saved when we get back up to speed so rather than lose articles and replies we've shut down the posting function of the forum. Using this thread you can now post replies. Actually you can post replies to any thread in the FD Exclusive forum but there's no point in doing so because they will all be lost on restart.

This work might take up the entire weekend but we will be back in action soon.

You work on site improvement one step at a time or spend many hours of effort in repairs. The rough part is that the pay is lousy for a start and the employer does not pay overtime - ever!

I was going to ride shotgun with an ADV gal from New Mexico (actually from Alberta but living for years now in NM) heading south from Edmonton today. It continues to relentlessly pound down rain in single digit temperatures (C). She's on hold thankfully. This almost certainly represents snow at higher elevations.
