Okay, I have been extremely busy with my real life the past couple of days, and it appears that the atmosphere around here has gone down the toilet.

I'm reading threads about people quitting, and accusations about what people said and did, and I am still up to my eyeballs in other stuff, too.

I would really appreciate it if everyone who is mad about something would just send me a PM this afternoon so I can hear everyone out and try to figure out how to handle it.

I asked you to all take a step back last night while I was away, and it looks like the opposite happened, and the moderators were trying to keep a lid on things, but it was like trying to contain a nuclear blast.

All of you know that we try to be fair to everyone here and, if you think that you ore someone else hasn't been treated fairly, I want to know. The fastest way to get me up to speed is to talk to me directly.

I think that Connie mentioned that she was out for a full night and not returning until later today so I would think that your sense of an appropriate timeline might be skewed.

I would think that the whole issue of people not knowing who you are would be an issue that would mitigate any sense of libel but I am not a lawyer.

I wouild also suggest that if people believe they have been slandered and they intend to make a claim that it's damaging that they may discredit themselves by repeating it and repeating and repeating it across the board drawing additional attention to the claims and inviting additional people to be aware of the information.

I agree with FF. Even if "Red Dog" was slandered, "Red Dog" does not exist.

However, whoever wrote that crap really needs to be ashamed and I think RD is owed an apology.

I archived the thread in question as soon as you brought it to my attention. The only one talking about you and your "questionable motives" IS YOU! In addition, nobody has the foggiest clue who "RedDog" is. You are being utterly ridiculous in trying to make this into some kind of legal problem, and I am NOT amused.

If you want to take this outside the forum and start some sort of legal action, you are OUT OF HERE. Get it??? If you want to drag us into another legal mess because somebody's screen name insulted your screen name, you are NO FRIEND of this site.
