An interesting bit I just realized.
A month ago with the New NDP government all of hubbies cancer drugs became covered 100% meaning I no longer had to come up with $500 a month for his meds.
As I said in an earlier post because of a low white cell count hubby was put on injections to help him produce more 7 days on and about 7 days off. These drugs according to the package cost $2026.64.

That would have meant if the bill had not passed that I would have had to come up with about $5000 every month
Had it been a cost I would have to bear I would have cashed out a few things and still covered his treatment but that's beside the point. What about the people who don't have access to that kind of money. Fighting a devastating disease like cancer is a trial in it's self and you shouldn't have to deal with the financial what if's. Never thought I would be graciously thanking the NDP
