Apparently there is this huge fight going on around here. I'm guessing it has been going on for days. FINALLY, I got a PM this morning about it, and I can't even find the thread where it is happening.

I can't deal with problems if I don't know they exist, you guys! In the past two weeks, my mom has had triple bypass surgery, she's had to go back to emergency twice (once by ambulance with her heart in fibrillation), I've had two kids down with Swine flu, I've been trying to keep up with a work placement, and I'm two weeks behind in school. Sometimes I don't have TIME to read every thread and automatically intervene in every conflict.

THAT'S WHAT PM'S ARE FOR!!

If someone would be so kind as to send me a PM and let me know what has been going on, we'll see that it gets resolved.

My opinion? Let 'em fight. Unless they are breaking the rules of posting on FD, I don't think you should have to be the playground monitor for the kids that can't get along. As I said, it's just my opinion.

As I said on that thread Winston had every right to kick those abusing privilege. If you don't agree with a poster why in heavens name follow them around and make derogatory comments. If no one agrees or disagrees with a posting then there will be no comments. To fill the space with slam remarks because you don't like the idiotically of the poster says more about you than it does the originator.

<b>styky</b> with all due respect, one of us must be sufferring a stroke, because my take on that is quite different from yours. I simply did not see "texas" abusing any priviledges, nor "follow anyone around". Nor did I see any of the stituations you describe.

Neither did I. Looked like garden variety rhetoric to me. But then I come from a family where "It's going to be a nice day tomorrow" inspires everyone else in the room to demand sources for that statement.

As a general rule, I don't put anyone on ignore. I just actively ignore them. When <b>Yoda</b> posts anything, it's like the grownups talking in a Charlie Brown cartoon... "Waa-waa-waaa-waaa", etc. Oh I read it alright, but it immediately goes down the amnesia hole.

So he posts articles that are not exactly about happy events. So do I yet if I were to post it my posting is followed by informed agreement or disagreement. His is followed by sarcasm and insult. If you don't like or agree with ALL a posters postings IGNORE THEM

I read the thread and it didn't appear to be a "big fight" to me. I have read far far worse here many times before!

I would like to thank those who support my right to post. Further what I find really interesting is that quite a number here who have never supported me publicly will pm me privately with their support and questions.
