Actually, there are quite a number of posters here who are important to me. Some I don't know, a tiny number are people I dislike, but, for the most part, I'm sad to see anyone go.

I'll buy that Connie- You run the site and have probably had numerous PMs from many posters- I just think that many posters(not just on this site but others I frequent) have an overblown opinion of themselves - They have to tell everyone they are leaving -Very few care- Having never met anyone face to face(except you and Marc) I don't need the fishing for plaudits-

At my age going to a Mexican restaurant with strolling mariachis is a lively time.

I was there to attend my granddaughters graduation from Katy High School.

just chill a bit BD

don't know what the big fuss is about
BD's rationale didn't sound strange to me.
He re-evaluated his position or philosophy on something.
We all do somewhere, sometime.
His outlook, his choice

Freedom of speech
Freedom of though
Freedom of conviction
Freedom of religion
Freedom of whatever .................
In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

Freedom to tell a women he can be Christian and support SSM, so what, at least he did not have an abortion!

Should the same woman have the freedom to say it like it is.

You have shamed yourself and so many who carry the scar of abortion. What are you trying to accomplish with this farewell. A clear conscience? You won't get it this way BD.

Seeking the praise of men will not wipe away what you have done, only asking God's forgiveness will.

If you haven't been to Katy in awhile, you'd be surprised at the growth there. Not even 20 years ago it wasn't even considered part of Houston, now it all runs together.

We run out to Katy Mills every 2 or 3 months for shopping. The Mexican restaurant at Katy Mills used to be really good - Los Cucos. The original one was in Seguin but after about a year it went downhill and we don't stop there anymore. I haven't been to the one at Katy Mills in 2 or 3 years now. We like another Mexican restaurant that we eat at on our way to Katy or points further west - La Fiesta. It's on the Katy Fwy. They have some kick-butterfly margaritas!!!

My oldest son and his family live in Cinco Ranch in eastern Katy.

We go to a restaurant named La Finca; it's first-rate and close to where my son lives.

It's too bad Bulldog is leaving, I disagreed with his left-wing views but he wasn't quite as far left as DAC, Adonick, or Charles White.

At one point, not a few months ago, BD was a hard boiled conservative, ragging on the neo-cons.

He's a charter member of FD, one of the very first posters on here. He will be sorely missed. The rest of you, I have no idea why you are raging on him. His view of homosexuals is probably no different than mine - libertarian.

You're projecting.

Now, go f-word yourself.

If you support SSM then i oppose your position too. I have no idea how SSM or secularism is interpreted from the view point of Orthodox Jewism, I assumed it was similar I guess I was not correct.

But a Christian should never witness, as a Christian, that they will hand over their values to secularists, and come what may.

The original disagreement was about SSM and a secular state not homosexuality. Can you guys please, at the very least, try to get that straight.

I am here to ruin B.D.'s pity party. I want to set the record straight about what the real issue is lest we Christians be called menataly ill homo-phobes, and to set the record straight about what BD is capable of when an itty bitty woman attacks his position.
