Free Dominion is a Canadian conservative political news forum conceptually modeled after the ground-breaking American website Free Republic. Free Dominion is the world's first proof the power of Free Republic can be imported and applied in any country where there is a desire for liberty. There is now a growing Free Britannia in the U.K., and conservative patriots in other countries are sure follow with comparable websites of their own.

Although Free Dominion was inspired by Free Republic, our primary focus is Canada and international events affecting Canada. Our interests are Canadian, our pursuit is liberty, and our principles are conservative.

The Free Dominion works because liberals cannot control content on a political website on the internet, as they do with the old style media. Liberalism cannot successfully be promoted on a serious internet forum because the usual liberal debating ploys don’t work in the unforgiving environment of a public text debate.

The internet is unique in that it may be the only venue in which a reasoned conservative argument trumps a socialist rant.
